We haven't been here for years. I regret that. This time was an experience. The restaurant is quite beautiful in a lovely garden oasis type of setting. It was idyllic, worthy of pictures. However, the flash of a camera going off in such a subdued setting while others were dining would have been rude. Pictures of the food suffice. I don't hand out "the best meal" in reviews. But, this one may be it, even though we had many unbelievable dinners in Grand Case and locally. What I think set this apart was the uniqueness of it. The setting, the service, food. THE FOOD! I had scallops carpaccio. Do not be fooled by the picture. It is not bland as the photo may indicate. It was clean, sweet, with the right amount of citrus, and, tasted as if the scallops had jumped straight from the sea into my mouth. I have never had better. My husband echoed similar comments about his foie gras. That, of course, we can have anywhere in St. martin. so, for that to be that good in his eye says volumes. He is the foie gras lover of the two of us. The special that night was bouillabaise prepared with a choice of sauces. I had the traditional. He had a lobster broth. Again, the best we have had. We will be back! fyi, it is expensive.

This is supposed to be romantic and wonderful. It's expensive. Period. The food is good, but no better than other places we went, and our tab (including 2 cocktails and 2 glasses of wine) was 140 Euro. And we were there "off season," supposedly.

First time this season. A little off the beaten path, very pretty setting, several rooms. We had an excellent meal, even by St Martin standards.

The restaurant is pretty. The music played is quiet, spa music. The food is overpriced and just ordinary. . The biggest problem is the rude service. Once seated, one member of our party explained, very politely, that she is vegan - no meat, dairy, eggs. She was more than willing to have a combination of the vegetables offered on the other menu items. The server proceeded to say the person could have the ricotta stuffed ravioli - ricotta is cheese - or vegetable pasta. The member of our party asked again about the vegetable sides possibility and was sharply pointed to the ravioli once again. She ordered the vegetable pasta and we moved on. Immediately after, we were presented with an amuse bouche each had a huge topping of whipped cream! Did the server not listen at all? This is the only restaurant during our week that had any problem whatsoever with a vegan meal. We would not have come here if in the advertising they had not mentioned they work with dietary needs. And, if they had only stated they had a problem from the start, we would have gladly left the restaurant to go to another.
