My wife and I ate at Le Pressoir on our last night in St. Martin. We started with the crispy snail appetizer, which was quite good. As an entree, my wife had the mahi mahi, while I had the two course seafood special - shellfish first, then fish. All was outstanding. We shared the house special desert, which was a wonderful concoction of pears, chocolate and cream. In my opinion, it was our best desert on the island. Total mean with a nice bottle of wine was about 160 euros.

Hard to believe I'm the first to review unless people are trying to keep this one a secret. Recommended by our French concierge, expensive but worth the splurge. Best Lobster bisque ever, amazing scallops with duck breast, good wine list, great service. Le Pressoir means "the press" referring to the giant salt press across the street, also near the tourist office. If you want to "pre-game, the Calmos beach bar next door is ok and fun to lounge at sunset. Tip is included, there is no tax.

The second best meal we had in Grand Case. The food is high quality with top notch service. The wine selection is pretty good

Deserves six stars, not five! We were there once again last night for a fabulous dinner, from the appetizers to the dessert. We shared a superb entrée of four different kinds of fois gras, followed by the house specialty, a seafood platter served in two parts: crustaceans first, followed by different fish. All excellent (best beurre blanc sauce we've had outside of France). For dessert, I had an "unstructured" Poire Belle Heléne rivaling the innovative cuisine of the modern Spanish chefs, at a fraction of the price. Service was perfect, provided by locals, rather than imported staff. Le Pressoir is the new best place on the island, while the former stars, unfortunately, have been slowly fading.

A neat creole house in the heart of Grand Case. The staff was friendly and helpful with the menu. Our favorite dish was the dover sole with black truffles. Expensive, but oh so good.
Every dish was well prepared. It is worth a trip to this spot.
