we stayed here at the end of November 2011 for 2 weeks. we had a lovely clean room every day, staff was polite and helpful and the beach was lovely. in the rooms were complete kitchens if you wanted to make your own meals. a supermarket was close by as well . we had a small walk in the mornings to get our fresh crosissants( well worth the walk) . the best restaurants on the island were minutes away by foot. so mnay to choose from. Tessa who was at the front desk was very helpful in telling us whjere we could go and eat as well as what to look for site seeing if that is what you fancy. it was a pretty private beach, well kept and we had comfortable chairs on the beach with umbrellas for thos who do not wish the direct sun.i would go back in a minute and we are thinking about it again for this fall.

We visited St. Martin the first week of December.
We stayed at this beautiful place for a week. Very clean, new and all the basic essentials needed for cooking. The color scheme of the room is very pleasant and soothing. The view from our balcony is amazing. Tessa who works at the front desk is so helpful. She arranged our ferry ride to St. Barts. She gave advice on various restaurants and things to do. She is so sweet. Thank you!!
There is a big US supermarket 5 minutes from the hotel. The baguette is so fresh. Just imagine, sitting on the balcony with your other half having a glass of white wine, fine cheese and warm baguette.
The beach is not the most beautiful beach on St. Martin, but it is a short drive to Orient beach, Cupecoy and Happy Bay.
The setting is very different from Phillipsburg, not as busy or crowded. More relaxing and walking distance to Grand Case Blvd.
We were on the second floor. Even though the building is right on a busy street we did not appreciate any street noise.
The linens and beach towels were pretty comfortable. Not the cheap kind.

Just the right feeling, you'll want to stay here! The Bleu Emeraude is on the bustling Grand Case Blvd.but once inside it seems aworld away.Especially when you hear the calm waves of beautiful Grand Case Beach! You know your in the right place! With just a staff of four, the hotel is run very efficiently. Xavier and Tessa were of great help. They are there a few hrs. in the morning and afternoon. This eleven rm. hotel has a European flavor and is well thought out.The rms. are exactly as pictured:clean and comfortable (bring 220 converter). The TV,ipod dock and kitchenette are more than adequate. There is a small grocery and a French bakery within walking distance with an American style grocery just a short drive away. The restaurants in Grand Case truly make it the Gourmet Capitol of the Caribbean, all an easy walk by beach or narrow side walk. Enold's(our favorite)is the 1st restaurant you come to as you walk from the hotel. Great Creole food , moderatly priced, with a. good mix of locals and tourist. Have an evening of fine dinning at Le Ti Provencal or grilled lobsters and ribs at The Talk of The Town.Rent A small car for the traffic. Empress car rental was or choice;good prices and service we'll use them again. From the hotel Orient Beach,Anse Marcel Beach,Galion beach, and the ferry to Ilet Pinel are just minutes away.Stop by Andy and Cheryl's place on Orient Beach for a Guavabery Colada!Make a day trip to Philipsburg for some great duty free shopping. Don't forget to pass by the Guavaberry Hut for some samples! Can't wait until our next visit !!! cjn

Beach views are incredible.
Bedrooms overlook a main road so you do hear some traffic.
The apartments are beautiful, chic, and stylish.
Breakfast in the room (not included) is very nice.

Room wasn't cleaned one day; staff didn't believe us. (And didn't care to see the video I took). There is no full time front desk, and after getting stuck in their elevator for half an hour (the first time that has happened they said - I believe them), I called the Emergency number several times and no one answered.

Biggest issue was a lack of water pressure in the shower. Just a trickle. We were told it was an island issue the first day (there was NO water), and that it would be fixed the next day. It was not (the sink faucets had water but the shower had very little). Two days later, still no pressure.

All in all, it's a hard trade off. For $200+/- for a room, you really should be able to bathe. The staff is very friendly and courteous.

They have a difficult time processing American Express (both at time of reservation and checkout).

I never write hotel reviews because I am never really impressed enough to make the effort. But this is an exception. The hotel is lovely. So clean and well maintained. With only 11 suites you really have peace and quiet. The beach is spectatacular with warm calm water and an amazing view. The staff are friendly and helpful, just an overall great experience. Was so sad to leave

The reviews are true! Can't say enough great things about this hidden gem. Well appointed rooms with kitchenettes and all the appliances that you would need. Pristinely clean (hard to not be w/the primarily white decor) and very safe. Ideal for a small family seeking a bit of privacy, flexibility and not wishing to be overrun by the crowds in large hotels - we took our 4 month old and she loved it! The hotel was very accommodating.

The beach was wonderful - literally in our living room - and yes, you can do a bit of light snorkeling just a few feet away from the shore line. A shot that I took of the beach from my balcony now serves as my iMac screensaver!

Service is attentive whenever requested, but tends to be more discreet - which is what we were looking for...

The village of Grand case is also a few mins walking distance - you can leisurely stroll along the beach and be at some of the finest restaurants in the Caribbean before you know it - though I'd highly recommend renting a car - as there is a lot to see and do on other parts of the island (Marigot & Philipsburg to name a few) - don't get anything too large - parking can be painful in some spots and the road can be fairly adventurous - Island style!

Can't wait to return! Need more Guavaberry!

Having read tons of reviews and not being able to settle on a hotel for our St. Martin vacation, my wife and I decided to go with Bleu Emeraude. We got to the hotel and it was exactly as advertised. The place was very clean and the service was excellent. If you are looking for a truly laid back vacation, this is the hotel for you. The kitchen is well equipped with new appliances, cutlery, plates, etc. Grand case beach is also excellent for snorkeling, especially right in front of the hotel. I would advise you to get an inexpensive snorkeling kit prior to your trip so that you can save some money on rental. Definitely worth it. There is US supermarket, pharmacy, corner store just up the road and there are tons of inexpensive restaurants around Grand Case. I would recommend renting a car (smallest possible, easier to park), best way to enjoy your trip. The hotel has basement parking. Thank you Xavier and Camille for the excellent service. Your hotel made us feel at home and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We will be back!
