This is a very laid-back place for a good meal on the beach. They do have normal seating, but you want to go down to the beach and sit at a tiny table in a couple of beach chairs and eat your food in the surf. The breeze keeps the bugs away and the birds apparently have better things to do than attempt to hijack your dinner. The staff was extremely friendly and seemed content to let us have the table all night if we wanted. (Something we noticed everywhere we ate in town.) Often a server would plop himself down at a table and talk for a few minutes if the group was chatty. The food was simple but delicious, and of course expensive. The after-dinner "rum" tasted more like vanilla/banana syrup, but since the server was always sharing I suppose that helps keep them vertical. Many people told us about the legendary Salsa nights on Thursdays, but we had already made plans. The group next to us had come for lunch and just hung out all afternoon until dinner, and I can see how someone could spend a long time at one of those tables on a nice evening. Definitely worth a visit!
