We have been going to Auberge Gourmand for years. Our recent visit was certainly our last! In the past, we always had amazing service from Florence and Christophe. They were certainly missed, having moved to start their own restaurant, La Villa. I had gone the week before to make a reservation and chosen the table for myself, husband and our daughter. When we arrived they had given the table next to us to a large group (who had not reserved), cramming us into the corner. My daughter was literally sitting in an archway, not feeling like part of our table. The restaurant owner was there, fawning over the large groups present and vitually ignoring repeat customers of more than 5 years. At one point the staff was setting up a table behind my daughter and they actually lifted chairs over her head. The food was quite pedestrian, with no changes made to their vegetable side dishes since we started coming years ago. The foie gras is still served with the same pear side, good but not spectacular. The salmon was overcooked and dull. All in all a very disappointing evening. Virtually ignored most of the time. Will not be back next year. Pascal needs to recognize loyal customers.
