We requested an outdoor table when we reserved, about 10 days in advance. The hosts honored our request, but in reality the indoor setting was lovely and might have been preferable over the street traffic (noise and auto exhaust.) A complimentary glass of champagne started us off pleasantly. We ordered lamb tenderloin and veal chop, which were accompanied by an intriguing selection of attractively prepared vegetable sides. A home-blended rum shot followed our meal.
