We were walking to eat a chimichanga or something and weren't feeling very enthusiastic about it. My wife stopped to look at a menu at this small place. The menu said Mediterranean but the girl working there said Lebanese. We love Lebanese food and decided to try it. We're glad we did!
They have this sampler platter that you can order a bit of everything. After the first, we ordered another, along with a lamb dinner we were to share. It took awhile as this place isn't Chili's. The salads were cut after we ordered. The lamb was cooked after we ordered it, and the wait for all of this was worth it. The ambience was Eastern with hookah pipes all around and music playing that was either Greek or Turkish. The place was clean. The service was friendly. We sat at the bar and the bartender had to look up how to make a Rob Roy but it came the way I like it AND with a smile.
In short, this meal was hot, fresh, and well prepared, and it was a welcome departure from the typical tourist fare of cheeseburgers and steaks and seafood and Italian. We'll indubitably return!
