“Nice fresh food”
Reviewed April 8, 2013

We had a relaxed, decent Italian meal at this restaurant. Owner was very welcoming and took time to speak to everyone dining. Nice waitress. The meat, pasta and sauces tasted freshly cooked. Nice selection of wine. We sat outside on the upstairs terrace, which had plants and subtle lighting, which gave a mediterranean feel. It is in a strange location behind Scotia Bank and up some stairs, but once sat on the terrace, amongst the greenary it was very pleasant. Good value for money

“Great Italian in the Caribbean!”
Reviewed April 2, 2013

We loved our dinner at this little spot. The owner is so sweet and came over to say hello and check on us. They offered to do half portions for our children. The pasta was fabulous, we all had something different and every last bite was good.
This upstairs restaurant sits in the Simpson Bay Marina and although you are not on the water you definitely get the feeling that you are in a nautical spot.
If you are wanting Italian, head here, it is great!

“Tutta Pasta”
Reviewed March 31, 2013

Tutta pasta was recommended to us by some friends we meet on the island. this is hard to find but keep looking it is worth the search. Great quite location, Great Food. Cash only. If you see the signs for Jimbos ( also good) on Welfare road Tutta Pasta is an upstairs location very near Jimbos.

“Best Kept Secret”
Reviewed March 29, 2013

Been going to St Maarten since 1996. Was recommended by a local working at Simpson Bay Villas and Marina. Married to a New York Italian I can't tell you how fussy he is when it comes to Italian food. We tried the hidden gem back in 1998 and have never missed the dining experience except last year when we could not make it to St Maarten due to Hurricane Sandy. Well we are going 04/22/13 and can't wait to eat at Tutta Pasta. Better than some of the Italian Rest back home. Warren the owner is a wonderful Gentlemen and his staff are also wonderful. It is a no rush, relax and enjoy experience. See you all in April.

“Enjoyable evening and great food”
Reviewed March 16, 2013

My wife and I had dinner on the balcony patio last night. We called and made reservations and spoke with the owner Warren he was very friendly and helpful. Patricia our server was very efficent and friendly. I had the spaghetti and meatballs, Trish had the Carbonara and we split a Salad Verda. Both entrees had gerenous portions. The sauce and meatballs were very good and Trish compared the Carbonara to the dish she had in Rome I had a glass of house chianti and Trish tried chardonnay, both were very nice. The wine list is not very extensive but it covers all of the bases. The entrance is a lttle difficult to find the first time but worth the effort. We meet Warren on the way out and had a enjoyable chat about his restaurant and the island. Bring cash, they do not accept credit cards. We will be back before we leave the island!
