“Best Kept Secret”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 29, 2013

Been going to St Maarten since 1996. Was recommended by a local working at Simpson Bay Villas and Marina. Married to a New York Italian I can't tell you how fussy he is when it comes to Italian food. We tried the hidden gem back in 1998 and have never missed the dining experience except last year when we could not make it to St Maarten due to Hurricane Sandy. Well we are going 04/22/13 and can't wait to eat at Tutta Pasta. Better than some of the Italian Rest back home. Warren the owner is a wonderful Gentlemen and his staff are also wonderful. It is a no rush, relax and enjoy experience. See you all in April.

“Enjoyable evening and great food”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 16, 2013

My wife and I had dinner on the balcony patio last night. We called and made reservations and spoke with the owner Warren he was very friendly and helpful. Patricia our server was very efficent and friendly. I had the spaghetti and meatballs, Trish had the Carbonara and we split a Salad Verda. Both entrees had gerenous portions. The sauce and meatballs were very good and Trish compared the Carbonara to the dish she had in Rome I had a glass of house chianti and Trish tried chardonnay, both were very nice. The wine list is not very extensive but it covers all of the bases. The entrance is a lttle difficult to find the first time but worth the effort. We meet Warren on the way out and had a enjoyable chat about his restaurant and the island. Bring cash, they do not accept credit cards. We will be back before we leave the island!

“Mama Mia!!!”

Hidden away up an outdoor staircase this restaurant is worth looking for. The Italian menu is varied and food is excellent. Warren the owner is welcoming and chatty. Bring cash as,in many of the island's restaurants they do not take credit cards.

“Friendly, fun place to have dinner.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 28, 2013

We make it a point to visit Tutta Pasta every year and Patricia & Warren have become friends. The menu is extensive but you can also mix dishes or make up your own. Eating out on the balcony is the icing on the cake.

“Slow but pleasant service, decent italian”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 25, 2013

We made a reservation weeks ahead and when we arrived we were told to wait by the very small bar. No one offered us a drink, not even water, we were the only people back there. It was very hot and we were quite thirsty. Since there was no one behind the bar at first my husband joked that he would make us something. I almost wish that I said yes. The owner came back with a coffee supplier and completely ignored us and went behind the bar to talk to the supplier about the type of coffee supplies that he was looking for and pricing. Just when we were thinking that maybe we should leave, our server came and got us and seated us. She was very pleasant and our dinners were decent. My pasta was a bit overcooked, not al dente like a real Italian restaurant should serve. I wouldn't go back but it wasn't terrible. It was our only Italian restaurant experience on St Maarten, there must be better. I would skip this place.
