This place was walking distance from our resort so naturally we checked it out early. Service was friendly - but slow. Coffee is excellent. We returned for fresh baguette and croissant throughout our stay. Cards accepted. Near Pelly Deli grocery store (great for take-out sandwiches).

We stayed across the street and went there cause we were tired and didn't want to get in the car. Well the first meal was beautifully prepared and delicious. Between the onion soup and mussels appetizer we were in heaven. Our fish dinners were also delicious. Of course we went back again and the fresh snapper entree as well as our appetizers were again fantastic. The service was wonderful and we would not hesitate to give this restaurant 5 stars.

The food was delicious, but the service and entertainment were better! Ask for Yo Yo (Raphael) he's out favorite waiter, he really gets to know you. they have nightly entertainment usually a guitarist/singer, Sebastian was awesome. We tries eating at other local places but no where was as good! we ate dinner at Bon Appetit 5 times in the 7 we were in St Maarten. Love them!

We stayed in Simpson Bay and ventured over to Grand Case and Grand Case was pretty much as reviewed. But Bon Appetit doesn't take a back seat either and it was right around the corner from our condo. We ate their FOUR nights, what more can one say. We had a combined eight dinners and only one was not superior, the other seven were well presented, cooked to perfection and tasted great and were delivered with a flourish. There is absolutely no doubt each meal is cooked from scratch and done one at a time. And to add to the enjoyment they have superior talent singing each and every night. If you don't appreciate good food, a fine staff, sitting under the trees out on the sidewalk as the world goes by and listening to a performer sing the old ballads, well don't go to Bon Appetit. Yoyo is a transplanted Frenchman in the Dutch part of St. Maarten/Martin and he makes everyone feel special!
