“Skip it!”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 20, 2014 via mobile

Fair at best. There were 4 couples. We had a reservation. They would not give us separate checks, which was upsetting to 2 couples who don't drink. The manager asked the owner (who was there) and we were told, no separate checks! We decided to leave. The owner watched us all leave and never said a word. He clearly didn't mind losing business. Other friends stayed and said the food was terrible. There are too many other fun and yummy places to go. This one, however, is off the list

“Great Casual Dining!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 19, 2014

Friends raved about Toppers and we have been afraid to try it because of the casual atmosphere and assumed it would be typical bar food. We had dinner just before the Regatta and were pleasantly surprised! The salad dressing was loaded with garlic and too much oil but the pasta dishes and filet was really good! We were pleasantly surprised and would recommend Toppers as an alternative if you are looking for somewhere more casual to done while staying on the island!

“St. Patrick's Day in the islands”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 18, 2014

We made a reservation at Toppers for St. Patrick's Day dinner. The placed was packed and really loud, which is how it should be on March 17. Our server did a great job despite the crowd. I had traditional corned beef and cabbage. The cabbage was okay, the beef was good but a bit fatty. The potatoes and carrots were really good (and I'm not a fan of carrots). We also tried the crab stuffed mushrooms as an appetizer. They were really good. Topper's had music playing outside, but it was so loud inside that you really couldn't tell it was playing. A great place to eat and have fun in Simpson Bay.

“2 Restaurants”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 18, 2014

There are 2 restaurants in Simpson bay. One at The Flamingo Resort and another on the main strip. This is the first time we went to the one on the strip and it was great. Although we could walk from our resort, there was a large lot next door. The DJ was awesome. He had a great voice!. I didn't like the karaoke. When we go out for dinner or drinks I want to enjoy the entertainment, to me it isn't entertaining. I met the owner there and he was so friendly. He introduced us to the bartenders. Shots were passed out so I had to buy some Rhum I had Mocha Mama (of course I bought some to go home, awesome over ice cream.
