“SMOKIN! Great Ribs, Slammin good Ceaser Salad”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 2, 2014

First off i just read some bad reviews on this place..... Rubish! If your expecting a world class setting with perfect food accross from your 5 star hotel, Go to Nice, and spend a few thousand dollars.

Now a real review from a real guy that likes his food.

Nice simple setting outside, just what I expected on a beach accross from the sand. The ribs were the best ever. The service was fine for a place on the beach that never claims to be 5 star. My father-in-law, who has had a Ceaser Salad at the restaurant where that salad was originated and prepared by Ceaser himself, said this places Ceasar salad was as good or better then the original.

“Best ribs in St Martin ”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 15, 2014 via mobile

I've had ribs in many places but none compare with Harbour Queen. Ignore all of the negative hype and enjoy some melt in your mouth, fall off the bone, perfectly smoked ribs. Great side dishes also. Try the baked beans. Truly unique!

“Very good food”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 30, 2014

We were there on a busy night so the service was a bit slow but the waitress would let us know she would be there in a moment or the owner would bring us something. We have been wanting to try this restaurant for a while but never got to. This time didn't disappoint us. For an appetizer we had the mussels in a garlic cream sauce and they were so good. For the entrée my husband had fish and chips which was mahi mahi cubed and breaded. It was really yummy. I had the pan seared tuna with cole slaw and rice and it was really good.

“bad tasteless greasy food”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 17, 2014

We decided to try this restaurant since it had a 2 for 1 appetizer deal even though there appeared to be very few diners on a Friday night (this should have tipped us off). We ordered coconut shrimp and calamari as an appetizer. They were ok but dripping in grease. Then came the entrees. My daughter had ordered seasoned fries as a side. The waitress came back and said they were out of seasoned fries but they have regular fries (HUGE TIP OFF - everything frozen no chef at all!!! - we should have left then and there.) My snapper was ok, but my salad (which should have been on my daughter's plate - they switched her salad for my slaw) tasted like mold! The baked potato and bread were good. My daughter ordered the conch fritters, which had a very bitter taste. We were not sure if it was lemon or if the fish was off so she didn't eat much of that. The fritters were dripping in grease and besides the bitter taste had no flavor. When we were asked how everything was, I did mention these things in a very nice way. No offer of refund or anything was made. The waitresses, however, were very kind and the table we were seated at was on the water which was nice. Food was incredibly bad!!! Think "kitchen nightmare."

“Food was good, service TERRIBLE!”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 12, 2014

We should have realized that if there is no one dining you should choose another resturant. We looked at the menu and the prices were reasonable so we thought we'd give it a try . Our waitress was a bit dim. The service was terrible. It took over an hour to receive our food which was pretty good. The loaded potatoes were interesting. I have never had a baked potato with half a cheese slice laid inside along with shredded carrots. Slaw was excellent. I had the snapper and it was good. Husband had lightly breaded and fried grouper and he liked it. Our friends had the ribs and they were satisfied. The owner asked if everything was ok and we said no so she removed the service charge. Way to go throwing all the blame on the waitress! We left her a modest tip anyway. Don't waste your time at this resturant. The places on either side are much better.
