This was a hot spot for dinner and entertainment. Everything was special about le Sand. Unfortunately, the hurricane season of 2017 completely destroyed this true gem of the Caribbean.

Had a small office Christmas party at 6 pm. A few were late but no pressure to order quickly.
We thought parking would be difficult, but there were so many places on the main street as people were always coming and going. We parked down towards a pizzeria which was great cause we could then do a little walk after dinner (probably 2 minutes).
We selected some shared entrees which were presented on high platters - ordered stuffed zucchini flowers, mushroom arrancini, calamari - all were excellent.
Mains selected were risotto, salmon and barramundi - all were excellent too and a little different to the usual. I'm fussy with my salt - there wasn't too much salt which is nice when you order seafood or risotto
To help choose our desserts, the staff presented us with a tray of actual desserts so that we could see what we could order. Better than just reading from a menu & helps with adding more table conversation. The dessert selection was broad covering creams / pastries eg tiramisu, custard based or fruit based pasties with optional ice cream/cream.
Although the prices were on the high side, the food was great quality but the little extras were a surprising bonus.....large chocolate coated strawberries presented on hot ice (smoke bellowing out over the table - impressive), a view directly next to the window, a long stemmed red rose for all the ladies and wonderfully pleasant and happy staff.
The menu was broad enough that anyone could select a tasty dish - the trouble was which one.
Thanks Le Sands for making our Xmas Dinner an excellent way to close the end of 2017 with our staff!

Lunched here twice on this trip and found it to be a one-of-a-kind fabulous experience. A little pricey but the food, service, and view are priceless. Praying this restaurant and the entire island fair well in impending Hurricane Irma!

We ate here on the day before their annual closing for slow-season. The food was fantastically prepared and one of the best salads I had on the island! The wait staff was very friendly and helpful. The view is beautiful--looking directly out onto the beach. We really enjoyed our lunch!
