Description: For the last 17 years, owner Stephane has welcomed you to the palm groves of the lagoon at Nettle Bay where, watching the sunset over the lagoon, you can enjoy the gastronomic, gourmet cuisine in an idyllic setting. Chef Malory Leroux offers daily specials sourced from the market's daily offerings, without forgetting the signature dishes: foie gras in truffle oil, lobster raviolis, Wild French sera bass. Mathieu Maini, the pastry chef, is constantly searching for new creations, such as the already famous strawberry macaroon. La Cigale brings a touch of delicacy which rounds off your meal with finesse. The wine menu, without doubt one of the richest on the island, will undoubtedly seduce you. If reservations are encouraged, it is because this corner of paradise, very busy during the season, is the ideal spot for a romantic dinner. (gift certificate - honey moon - weddings - Private Diner)

I was a bit hesitant, but it was worth every euro and then some. if you truly love an exceptional dining experience, from the menu, to the wait staff to every delectable bite, make a Rez now. I have to say, one of the finest meals I have ever experienced. The Fois Gras was to die for, we had an early reservation, a table on the beach, it was wonderful. Our third trip to St Martin and it was the best meal ever!

Excellent food and service at a very private table, with a view of the bay just a few feet away. The fish here was superlative and the specials are creative, yet simple. Not to be missed.

Gated parking on the lagoon side of Baie Nettle. We love to feel we escaped to another world for a romantic dinner. We even got engaged at Le Pressoir in Grand Case, but that's for another review. There are tables in the sand, although we sat on the main patio. Very friendly greeting and explanation of specials with a wonderful French touch. Menu has something for everyone. First time I had a filet on the French side, and it was surprisingly cooked to my exact request and was tender and flavorful. My wife's entree was equally superb. By the way, very interesting Escargots for an appetizer we shared. We recommend this restaurant to everyone. Only minor observation, at least for us - the cushioned chairs were a little uncomfortable. Newer and better cushions would help. $$$$

The setting is romantic and inviting. The staff is knowledgable and attentive. But, best of all, the chef can cook! The food had taste. Something missing at other restaurants we dined at during our nine days on the island. In fact, we went the second time to celebrate our anniversary on our last night there. Didn't mind paying the check as the food was far better than other spots charging 50% more. Highly recommended!

This is a beautiful restaurant on the lagoon side of Marigot. Food was delicious. I had two appetizers. One was a ravioli stuffed with lobster mushrooms and fois gras. The second baked mussels with a Parmesan and herb topping. Both were delicious. My husband had the steak Rossini which he said was hands down the best beef in st Martin. Our waiter was efficient and very knowledgable. The reasons I must mark down are two. First although we expected prices to be high we considered them well worth the experience. But we ordered three glasses of their Chablis which ended up being $25 each. This is way overpriced for a single glass and we felt the waiter should have suggested the price or recommended a bottle instead. The secon reason for the mark down was that after the wait person gave us the dessert menu she disappeared to wait on different tables. By the time she returned we had lost interest in ordering more. If u go you should love the food but as we spent $100 each for dinner please be aware of their wine prices
