Nice location at the Marina in Marigot.
Enthousiastic, entertaining and professional staff.
Good food, plenty choice of fish, meat and salad.
We have been there twice in april 2014 and were very satisfied.

Greetings to Roger and Atilla
And thank you for the pleasurable hours in your restaurant.

The staff was entirely friendly and helpful. The restaurant's menu was a little too American for our taste. On the other hand there were a number of great French dishes on the menu. If you have someone who has American only tastes paired with a great French food enthusiast this is a place to go. If you want an early dinner this is a great place to go. Sit outside not inside, near the boats not near the bar. Great atmosphere and people watching as they go by. In April the sun is off the tables by about 5:15 PM.

Walking around Marigot, ended up at the marina on a public holiday night when many restaurants were closed. Our large party was welcomed heartily and we enjoyed a tasty, if not top notch, meal. Lots of personality and personalities, snails were perfect!

After having a succession of fabulous meals including at Tropicana and several of the best restaurants in Grand Case we decided to give the wallet a rest and go for something a little less $$$, but we still wanted to enjoy the atmosphere at the Marina. We browsed the boardwalk, and came back to Le Galion as it had several lower priced but tempting items on the menu board. I opted for chicken breast in a forest mushroom sauce. I never order chicken when eating out because we eat so much chicken at home - what can you do with chicken to make it special l!!! I couldn't have been more wrong. The chicken was so tender and delicate and the sauce oh so tasty without being too rich or heavy.
When I got home, the first thing I did was search Google for tips on cooking tender chicken. The result was a big improvement on my usual efforts but nowhere near Le Galion's dish. If they can do that with a humble chicken breast, what else can they do?
Can't wait to go back to find out.

We had an early dinner at Le Galion. We wanted to eat at Tropicana but it did not start serving dinner until 6:00. So we tried Le Galion and we were glad we did. There were four of us and each of us thought that the food was terrific. The waiter turned out to be the owner and he was very accommodating and funny. We all had appetizers that were quite good. The tuna tartar was nicely prepared and very tasty. For my entree, I had the tenderloin beef, which was so tender and juicy. It was one of the best I've eaten. Other entrees we had were the tuna steak and rack of lamb. Also excellent. If you want a really good French meal, at prices that won't break the bank, try this fairly new eatery in the Marina. You won't be sorry.
