Open air on the sidewalk by the harbor...family owned and operated...food is good...service was excellent...and we saw people come up twice and ask for water...not customers mind you...and both times they were served with a smile. Very impressed with their attitude and taking care of folks...and the food was pretty good too!

Driving through marigot, after a day at the beach, we wanted something spontaneous, no reviews, dropped in blind, beef bourganion, salad nicoisc, pizza with lobster, and some crepes, followed with complementary flavor rum after dinner drink. Easy laid back, unassuming local bistro, happy time. Very reasonable price, friendly service.

My husband and I wandering the streets of Marigot looking for something to eat. We walked by the bistro and thought we'd give it ago. Instantly upon walking up the server wished us a good evening and led us to a picturesque table looking at the market. We speak little French and he spoke better English. We placed a drink order which was quickly received and delivered. Guavaberry coladas are fantastic. We then talked over the specials and asked about the mussels. We chose them with a creme sauce and devoured the whole thing over a few hours with fries. (sinfully delicious and I am not a shellfish eater usually.) Everything was fresh and not as expensive as other reviewers have written. It was Euros but our service was good and the food French. They have a quick service/and a restaurant so maybe other reviewers went there instead. We loved the French side for the French experience. That is what you will find here. If you want a burger or other a Chili's experience head over to St Maarten to any of the Simpson Bay places. If you want a taste of Europe with Caribbean flair try here.

If you are looking for good food and a nice ambiance, go somewhere else. The pizza's are expensive and not tasteful. The staff is incompetent.

The only good thing about this place was the location. However, there are other dining establishments right there. The male waiter (was he the owner?) was rude and arrogant. We paid $40 for two cheeseburgers. We actually formed a bad opinion of St. Martin based on this restaurant experience and a bad taxi experience. However, following lunch, we found a good taxi driver and had a wonderful experience at Maho beach. This place can't be open due to return customers. They are lucky new tourists are uninformed and arrive daily.
