After visiting the fort, we went down into town for dinner. We were bummed Vie en la Rose was closed for dinner (what restuarant doesn't open for dinner?) so I meandered over to check the menu outside and was approached by the owner who gave a very good rundown of the menu. Very nice, somewhat of a "hustle", but I figured what the heck, were in the islands, we'll go with it. Got the family rounded up and got a nice table. We ordered just about every lobster item on the menu. Grandma enjoyed the lobster salad, daughter enjoyed the lobster pasta, and the lobster club sandwich was good. Not amazing, but good. Wife got the lobster pizza and that was probably the best. I think we might have got free drinks? Owner was definitely hustling around which is good because they were very attentive and wanting to please. Somethings take longer on the island, but this is normal. Bill was around $100 for the 5 of us so I was pleased. Family next to us was upset their fried calamari was undercooked and that someones meal had come out before anothers appetizers. I don't know, might have just been picky travelers. We were pleased with our food and service.
