Delicious food. Their table side guacamole is amazing and everything we have ever eaten there has been delicious. They are a more upscale restaurant and a little pricey but worth it.

The weather was good and the water beautiful but Prickly Pear was over rated. The snorkeling is marginal in very clear beautiful water and the island itself is rather average. The beach we stopped at on Anguilla was much better. I have been on a lot of catamaran and sail boat trips and the crew of Q1 were the most lethargic and uninspired crew I have ever come across. There was a lot of confusion over what we were doing and how long we had to stay at any one location. Snorkelers were told to swim over to the reef (collection of rocks and strong current) and then in to shore...oops but all the drinks were on the boat (and stayed there) so if you want one swim back out or buy one at the local bar (which we did). It was advertised as an open bar but no alcohol until at least 12:30....we left at 9:00 am - we are on holidays by the way :). The lunch was decent but it was noticed that the crew took their lunches and went back to the boat so when we finished our lunch on the island I asked the group how long we had left to stay on the island - no one knew.
The crew needs to take a more active role and bring some excitement and energy to the boat. We travelled on March 29, 2017. Would not take this trip again.

We were picked up at Maho hotel to Simpson bay resort where we were processed for our trip to Anguilla with passports required. We got a briefing from the captain and meet the crew Franco and Bobby. Both very attentive for drinks and conversation. When we arrived at Prickly Pear we went Snorkelling by the reef and saw some fish. Others took the dingy to shore for the beach and others stayed on the boat refreshing there thirst.
Next we went to Anguilla for a BBQ lunch and swim. The menu was chicken, ribs or fish with rice and beans. and coleslaw. It came with a rum punch not as good as on the boat.

We did a day trip to Prickly Pear and it was a fantastic day for sure. The beach was amazing, and the views of the surrounding islands and the yachts and pleasure boats travelling about is incredible. We thoroughly enjoyed our day at Prickly Pear.
