Have been coming to the island for 15 years and since the Westin opened we've been meaning to get to Aura. Being on the Westin property, which is very attractive, thought we'd give it a try. First mistake was ordering the Cowboy steak and the waiter was surprised when I didn't want any sauces. I know better than to order steak on the island, but thought it would be good. The steak (USDA aged) was dry and flavorless. A full service hotel and they didn't have Chivas Regal.
On the plus side the wine list was reasonable in price and selection.
The decor was pleasant, but I think you could walk into the restaurant and feel like you are in a Westin anywhere.
tthere are too many great restaurants on the island compared to this.
