Food is consistant, great burgers and drinks. Location is fantastic, right on the boardwalk, and live music is a nice touch.

We ate dinner here one evening while staying at the Holland House. My husband loved his wings. My nachos were pretty good. Fun and touristy with good enough food.

We had lunch at Taloula Mango with friends who were in Philipsburg for just a few hours. We enjoyed the Heinlein's on tap. Everyone seemed to be pleased with their lunch choice. A couple in the group had hamburgers, one had a Caesar Salad and the fourth had Conch Fritters. The food was basically pub food, which after all is what Taloula Mango is. The service fine,

We had dinner on our second night staying in Phillipsburg. It is one of the few places that stay open after the cruise ships are gone. Service can be slow, menu is average bar food with some Caribbean dishes. We had conch fritters which were the tiniest fritters I have ever had, overpriced. We also had the gouda sticks, not bad. For dinner I ordered the grouper creole, nice fish dish with a mildly spicy sauce, but the rice was cold. Bucket of beer for $10 is not bad.

We stopped in based on friends recommendation and were glad we did. We did not have lots of time as we had to get back to our cruise ship. We had very friendly service which always make a big difference for us. Note they are on "Island time" so not speedy but certainly friendly. We had drinks and appetizer with out limited time. They use gouda cheese for their cheese sticks instead of mozzarella which was a nice change. Everyone around was was enjoying their food and we heard several tables mention they were repeat customers. There is not outside entrance to the upstairs bar itself, you use a staircase in center of Taloula Mango's. Good view fo the water and people on the boardwalk
