We had been to this resort many years ago and at that time stayed in an efficiency and thought it was quite old and run down. This time it was a one bedroom facing the bay and it was very nice. Updated and comfortable. The beach and pools were very clean and so were the grounds. I think they have done a lot of updates to the place. People were very nice and helpful. We would definitely stay again.

Room tip: We were in room 619 and the rooms from 300-700 seem to be bay views

We decided to return to St. Maartens for our 30th anniversary trip. We spent our honeymoon in St. Maartens. I am so happy I decided to stay at Divi Little Bay Beach Resort. It is a nice and quiet resort overlooking Little Bay. You are close enough to Phillipsburg if you want to shop, etc. I stayed in a one bedroom suite and the room was very large with two balconies. The service was good and the bar Gizmos was a fun place to hang out at night. They always had some type of entertainment there in the evenings. We really enjoyed our stay. Would recommend it highly!

There were 3 of us who travelled to St Martin for the first time. I did a thorough research on the island to get a good idea of what to do since planning ahead is a must. Our original plan was to stay at the holland beach hotel in center Philipsburg, but it was unavailable for the first 2 days so we stayed at our second choice which is the Divi Little Bay Resort.

1. Don't listen to the negative reviews on trip advisor. This made it our second choice.

2. The resort is pretty and secluded, in a cove. Very private, so you definitely are forced to stay in the resort unless you take a taxi out.

3. There are no elevators, and we stayed at building G, first floor. G is right next to the infinity pool, but there are 2 more pools spread out. It's an easy walk down to the main restaurant, beach, lobby. They have golf caddys to bring you and your luggage to the room and to the lobby for check out.

4. We ate at pure ocean for the first night (Thursday night is Caribbean bbq buffet), but the second night we took a cab to Maho, which is the nightlife" of the island. We ate at 3 Amigos and walked around to the soprano bar, and sky beach roof top lounge.

5. You can't take random taxis on the street, you have to go to a hotel or taxi stand. Nothing has cost us more than $25-30 total.

6. There is a little market in the resort so you can buy snacks, food to cook, and drinks. All the rooms have a kitchenette

Overall, it's a good resort to experience but for a younger group of Travellers I would recommend staying at Maho (if you like the busy nightlife), or in my experience downtown Philipsburg (absolutely no nightlife but the bars that's open till 11pm).

Thank you for choosing our resort during your visit to Sint Maarten! We are happy to hear that you enjoyed your vacation experience with us and appreciate your positive feedback. We are indeed very secluded and pretty and our guests don't have to leave the resort as they can find everything they need on our property. This is why we also have live entertainment 7 nights per week. We appreciate your kind review! We hope that you will visit Sint Maarten again very soon! Sincerely, Celine

This is an excellent resort, the location is excellent, one of the nicest beaches in the area. With little Bay you have the choice of waves for body surfing or at the other end a clam peaceful ocean. Great snorkeling location, most diving boats come to Little Bay.

The rooms are small especially the bathrooms but you are not in St Maarten to stay in your room. The hot water can be a problem at times but everyone had the same problem you get used to it. The Wifi is not there in the beach front rooms. But once outside your room it is fine.

The SEABREEZE RESTAURANT is whwere we stayed during the day. There is a large pool and you are steps to the ocean. There is a small bar with several stools and a table area with wait staff next to the pool. Great lunches here Gyrenne was the bar tender, he does a nice job.

Breakfast and dinner at PUREOCEAN RESTAURANT were very good. Breakfast had the omelette station and variety of pancakes, waffles french toast etc. I have to say the meals at dinner were excellent, The steak and filet were surprisingly good, other meals and salads were also excellent.

Geraldine Veira at Pureocean was excellent, she reserved our table each evening outside and made our dinners most memorable.

Fernando at GIZMO’S GRILL has not been at the resort long. He is the most efficient waiter I have ever met. We had slow service the 1st night, but it was not his fault, the kitchen was backed up. All week he made sure we were being taken care of.

The entertainment was excellent with a variety each evening. They rarely took breaks and the music was always flowing.

Indulgence by the Sea Spa is excellent, we used the same spa in Aruba great massage and services.

We always stay in Aruba, thought we would change. glad we did. We will go back.

Room tip: All the beach front rooms are really the same, get a 1st floor room. 1001 to 1010 are very convenient. near the pool and exercise room
