Le Cafe is a great place to stop for coffee and cake or have a relaxed dinner at very attractive prices. Christine is a super host, very knowledgeable about Soufriere and St Lucia in general. She makes all the cakes and does the catering herself so all is fresh and made to order.

The restaurant is cosy in the evenings, with candlelight to add to the atmosphere. During the day it is a haven from the bustle of the market and daily commotion of Soufriere. Well worth a visit.

Christine is the friendly owner of this lovely, artistic little cafe. She makes great coffee and is a mine of information. She takes bookings for the evening and caters for up to about a dozen. We just had to tell her what we did and didn't like.

We arrived at the height of a storm and the other guests who had farther to travel had cancelled.
We therefore had the whole place and Christine to ourselves. It was a set price which covered absolutely everything including as much wine, rum and water as we liked. She is an excellent cook.

Stopped here for lunch. Nice baguettes and good coffee at very reasonable prices. The cafe is run by a very friendly lady called Christine. Highly recommend.

What a great find! If you stop off in Soufriere then make sure you stop here for great coffee and a chat with friendly English owner. Lovely shady refuge from the hustle & bustle on the street. Highly recommended.

If you want a swanky resort with flunkies pandering to your every wish, don't come to Christine's. She's not easy to book, but she buys all her ingredients fresh and locally. You take what she offers, which is usually "catch of the day" fish. We went three times in a week. Say no more. EC$100 each incl lashings of rum punch and wine.
