“Slow but excellent”
Reviewed March 13, 2013

This restaurant which was opened a few weeks ago, by Orlando, a chef who has departed from the Ladera /Dasheen. There are 8 tables and 2 seats at the bar.

Feedback received by Karen at the Stonefield said that service was slow and that it could take two and a half hours to eat there. Behold we arrived at 08.00 and departed at 10.30.

This restaurant specialises in taster menus. Generaly of 5 courses.

The staff are charming, amusing and well practised in keeping customers calm while waiting.
Our first course arrived after one hour - a small portion of delicious soup. Subsequent courses arrived during the next hour or so. Salad - chicken - fish - plus an amazing selection of small sweet portions. All were delicious!
Despite the wait, we have to declare this to be one of the highest quality meals which we enjoyed during our holiday.

It was interesting to chat with Orlando after the meal.He agreed that the kitchen is seriously under resourced. We wish him every success.

“OMG, simply the best!!!”
Reviewed March 11, 2013

This was by far the best meal we had in St. Lucia. We didn't have reservations but we went early evening and got a table with no problem. The place quickly filled up after we arrived so we felt very lucky to have gotten a table. We were given prompt service from beginning to end. It was truly a fine dining experience. Shortly after we were seated we were given a delicious appetizer to eat along with a special tasty drink, can't remember the name but it was good. Next was warm bread, so yummy! We both had the pumpkin soup and it was to die for. For the main course I had the jerk chicken, could have been jerk pork, I can't recall, but I was expecting a bit more jerk sauce, spice, flavoring.....It was fairly bland. Orlando if its jerk, ya need to spice it up a couple notches!! But with that said, it was still good, I just wanted more flavor. Dessert was great as well. Overall an awesome dining experience. A "must do" while in St. Lucia.

“AMAZING!!!”
Reviewed March 7, 2013

I cannot begin to explain how incredible our experience at Orlando's was. Coming from New York City, my family and I have extremely high standards for restaurants and different types of cuisine. Even so, we were impressed by the food, atmosphere, and service. I recommend Orlando's to all travelers, it's an experience that should not be missed.

“Delicious”
Reviewed March 6, 2013

We were a group of 6 staying at a rental villa up the hill.
Our villa had an amazing view- so spending a lot for a view was not our intent.
Orlandos has a quaint courtyard partly covered partly under the sky. We had lunch one day and also one dinner. They were happy to accommodate a gluten free guest and a vegetarian.
The menu was fresh and innovative. The price was less than Jade mountain and Anse Chastnet but we felt the menu was nicer. The service was perfect. Orlando is very cheerful and will say "feel the love!"
We also bought a few bottles of wine from Orlando to have at our villa as the grocery options were limited.

“Our best dining on St Lucia”
Reviewed March 5, 2013

Loved the environment, meeting the chef, and the food was fantastic. The multiple courses prior to the main entree were the highlight - each generated a Wow from both my wife and I. Our main courses were excellent, but less Wow. Definitely recommend going for the taster menus.
