The room was very clean and the price was excellent. It's not a far walk to the city center either. They also can help you rent a car. I plan on staying there again when I come back to St Lucia. My room was on the third floor (top floor) and faced out to the mountains. The shower was a "rain" shower and the water was very soft. I had a full kitchen, living room and bedroom. The balcony offered a breathtaking view. I'm glad I picked the Leisure Inn.

Room tip: They all have great views of the mountains.

We might have got a two-bed apartment for the price of a double room because the place was full, so the price was excellent. The ability to buy, store and cook your own food can also save a few pennies.

Soufriere is well worth a visit and this hotel is just over the road from the Soufriere estate which features a nice waterfall and some naturally hot baths using the water from the volcano.

One benefit of using Soufriere as a base is that it is close to Sugar beach which features lots of top end hotels. You can get to the beach by taxi or go and find a water taxi from the pier in town. Due to our lack of knowledge of the beach we got completely done over on the price to get there although the journey is nice enough. $20 USD there and back should be sufficient based on time and distance.

Sugar beach is really nice and you can rent a snorkel for $5 USD and swim around the protected part of the bay, between the famous St Lucian Pitones and se some colourful fish.

This property is a no frills property, this is what I like. I had a very nice and clean 1 bedroom apartment style unit(#103). It was on the end and very nice, kitchen, a/c, tile floors which clean easy. This property doesn't have housekeeping, but if you need anything, Bridgette will get it for you. Great place just on the edge of Soufriere, only about 6 blocks to the ocean and out of the cluster in downtown Soufriere. As a single person it was a great place to stay. Parked my car on the street, no problem. The staff here is excellent, they will answer any questions, etc. If they don't know the answer they will call someone who does. I loved them and will absolutely stay again if I return to St. Lucia. Sincerely, Friscoboy(John Mickschl)

Room tip: I loved the end room(#103), but it is a double bed, which was great for a single person. I loved the extra area in the unit, excellent for a solo, might work for 2 people. I think the property has bigger rentals.
