Let me start by saying that our family tries not to go back to the same place twice. We travel a lot and believe the world is to large to repeat the same place. Now having said that, when considering Caille Blanc, it has been a unanimous decision that that we need to go back soon! We understood after doing research (I do our research) that St. Lucia is mountainous, without the beaches of say, Eleuthera. We understood The Pitons were a World Heritage site and felt they would be awesome to experience. I called to find out more info and realized I was talking to the owner. Hmmm, that's different. I usually speak to an agency. Mr. Coleman was wonderful on the phone, explained everything and was very accommodating. We booked the villa and couldn't wait for the nice hot sun. Well, we knew the Pitons must be gorgeous, but what we didn't count on was the absolute beauty of the Caille Blanc Villa. It is jaw dropping, literally jaw dropping! You are front row center to one of the most beautiful natural views of the world. The villa itself belongs in Architectural Digest. Each bedroom (in it's own separate building) is spectacular! Bathrooms were equally beautiful with some open to the outside (with appropriate screening). Granite, marble, stone, imported tiles, fountains, flowers galore. A 60 foot endless pool overlooking the Pitons and cove. Hummingbirds everywhere! Rainbows! The staff is so professional and caring. There was a driver to meet us at the airport and available to hire for anywhere you wanted to go. The cooking staff is quite capable of doing whatever you wish (with a smile I might add) and the cleaning and grounds are impeccable. We hiked a Piton, took a catamaran ride around the island and snorkeled. One night we had dinner at a very famous restaurant on the island. The menu and view being recommended as wonderful. Yes, the cooking and service was wonderful, but we were the ones that had the better view at the villa! At one point I asked my husband if he feels strange that we are not going to the beach everyday. He said "Honey, if the best beach we have ever been on was down there (pointing to the land below), I would still want to be up here." We were a family of 4 (boys 19 & 21) in the clouds and we were so content. I am truly jealous of Mr. Owen Coleman, for he had the foresight to purchase this spot and build this incredible villa. I am also truly grateful that he is allowing others to experience this beauty and peace. Thank you Caille Blanc. We will certainly be back, sooner than later! (The pictures I have included are mostly outside shots. The bedrooms look exactly as the website portrays).

Our stay at Caille Blanc was nothing short of perfect. The moment we arrived, we were greeted by Marilyn and staff, who are the most sincerely kind, competent and attentive people you could ask for. They consistently went above and beyond any expectations in terms of cooking, special requests and keeping the villa absolutely beautiful.
The villa doesn't just rely on the spectacular room designs and views of the Pitons (we'll let the photos speak for themselves - bravo to owner Owen Coleman) - it's kept in immaculate shape, which takes hard work. It's kept safe and maintained by Albert and Curtis, respectively. However, those two guys went out of their way to make friends with our families and especially with our 8 and 5 year-old nephews, who adored them.
Marilyn and Francisca consistently made the best meals we've had in any Caribbean country, it was something special to spend time with them in the luxurious kitchen. They even showed my husband, a poor cook, how to make a great veggie dish.
Paulea was so friendly and fantastic. She took such respectful care of the place that you never forgot how lucky you were to be at Caille Blanc.
James, who is the villa's go-to driver, never hesitated to pick us up and take us to the many activity spots nearby (fishing, ziplining, nearby resorts, food runs to town, etc.) He even went out of his way and gave us priority to pick up my grandfather who needed a last-minute pickup.
The villa is a 10-minute ride to town, where you may do groceries to stock the kitchen or board a fishing boat for a deep sea adventure (Mystic Man Tours). It's also about a 15-minute walk to Anse Chastenet, where you may relax by the beach, grab a drink or set up activities such as scuba diving. It's within 20 minutes of Boucan, where we had our wedding reception. Sugar Beach and Ladera are also within 20 minutes.
Overall, the beauty of the location and the villa itself are going to be very hard to top. The only thing that may possibly be better are the people who work there.
