“A hidden gem”
Reviewed March 12, 2012

Kids absolutely loved this spot. Four modest-sized baths, at different temperatures (one is deeper and set back from the others). Tour buses don't seem to go here, so quiet and tranquil. Need to hike a short trail across a river bed to get there so plan to get shoes wet. A highlight worth seeing.

“Paradise!”

I loved this place. So tranquil and calm. Simply amazing. I went after a rain and was the only one here along with my husband. What a great experience.

“A rejuvenating natural mineral spa”
Reviewed July 4, 2011

New Jerusalem Mineral Springs consists of 3 pools of different temperatures that are fed via the highly mineralized, clear thermal run-off from the geothermal field at Sulphur Springs Park. The first pool is hot, lower down is the next pool which is slightly lower in temperature and the 3rd pool is tepid. All 3 pools are a good size. Calcite deposited by the water forms a naturally smooth surface at the bottom of the pools and it creates some seating in the first pool that's perfect for sitting under the falls that feed them. The "falls' are created by pipes that have been installed to divert the flow from the stream to the pools. You can get a great shoulder & back massage sitting under them. Set deep in the rainforest, NJMB is very picturesque and quiet. Unfortunately the bridge across Soufriere river was destroyed in the last hurricane, so you have to ford the river but it is well worth it. Cold drinks including Piton beer is available for you to enjoy while bathing. Excellent way to spend a couple of hours relaxing in a natural setting.
