The food was nice but served a bit cold. Just typical west indian food, tasty but not outstanding, reasonably priced but not a bargain. We were pleased to go once but it was not spectacular enough to repeat. I guess, because my husband is from Grenada, all we saw was an ordinary local meal...perhaps more interesting/exotic to those who are not used to this food being everywhere. Seems like alot of tours stop here for prebooked genuine local flavour. Vegetarian friendly too.

We had read all the great reviews about this restaurant and knew we wanted to put this on our priority list for our St. Lucia vacation. So glad we did! We had the pleasure of meeting one of Martha's daughters, Nolancia, who was our server. By the time we left, we felt as if we had made a new friend and enjoyed talking to her about their family and restaurant which is actually their house. They literally cook right in their own Kitchen. We had rum punch and a cold piton with our creole pork chop and creole fish. The meal was plentiful and we couldnt even finish our plate. The sides were just as delicious as the main entree. Best wishes to Martha and family!

Martha's Tables was a local and tourist favorite recommend to us by a taxi driver. Just off the road, a front yard deck, with scattered lawn chairs and tables adorned with "homey" picnic type tablecloths and placemats, was open seating for guests. The quaint setting made the experience even more memorable and comforting. It is attached to the home of Martha and her family, where she cooks the food right in her kitchen. That's where she does her magic. The food was authentic island cuisine, that tasted absolutely delicious and there was more than enough to make you feel very satisfied! The price had been reasonable and fair, especially for the quality and amount of food we were served for a lunch portion. While it's not in the same category as restaurants in the surrounding hotels, it has received quite the reputation from anyone who has visited. It's word of mouth that means much more, because they are the ones who have tasted it!

We finally got here this year and the food was simply delicious- cooked to order and profesionally served. Each time we visited there was a different twist to the menu and the home baked chicken was delicious.
