do the tour, do the mud bath.
rinse, wash, repeat..well skipped the tour the second time.
the falls outside of the main entrance is free, doesnt have the nice pool for you to sit in, but still a good experience

This is a great stop if you are in St. Lucia. Be sure to bring your bathing suit (an old one) to dip in the hot (yes very hot) springs. I have been to other volcanoes but never have been able to take a dip in the water or put the hot ash on my skin. Bring a disposable water camera so that you can take great photos without having to worry about your good camera or your phone getting wet or covered with dirt.

The Sulphur Springs are wonderful. You dunk yourself in hot water then smother yourself in sulphur mud, let it dry and then dunk again in the hot water to wash off after which you have, what then feels like a cold shower. The feeling of cleanliness and freshness afterwards is amazing. Highly recommend this as, aside from anything else, it's fun! With a tour group it gets a bit too efficient (marching orders here and there) but still good fun.

The tour of the active volcano is short and sweet. It's not an attractive volcano like you see in Hawaii. The sulphur baths are nice. Skip the volcano tour and just bath in the spring!

Not much to see; my husband thought it was very interesting, but it's about a 5 minute walk and there's not a whole lot there - beware of peddlers! They are aggressive!
