Description: Mango Tree Restaurant, like the resort itself is tropically elegant. The al fresco dining pavilion looks out over a small river stone pool and takes in the magnificent Petit Piton and views of the Caribbean Sea. Stonefield Estate Resort features 3 exciting menus, rotated each day.Our chef and his culinary team use all fresh local market ingredients to make the freshest, most delicious St Lucian flare. All herbs and vegetables grown on property are organic and the former plantation still yields the seasonal citrus, mango and breadfruit which are incorporated into the daily menus. The Mango Tree Restaurant features a special vegan menu, as well as a children’s menu. And to stir it up true Caribbean style, The Mango Tree presents a rotating dinner theme menu featuring the popular Barbecue Thursdays, a charming Creole evening with a live local shak shak band and the best baby back ribs and jerk bake on the west coast. The Saturday Market Affair serves up the best of what has been freshly procured at the nearby Soufriere market with live entertainment from local musicians. Whether you dine under a full moon with Petit Piton cast in shadow, under the starriest of nights, or witness passing ships alight, The Mango Tree Restaurants brings diners the perfect marriage of location and gourmet Creole. The Mango Tree is open for breakfast from 7.30 am until 11:00 am and is open for lunch and dinner until 10:00 pm. Plantation House, the large signature villa on property features a full kitchen and the option for an in house chef for your stay.

As practically all of the guest reviews indicate, there is no better view in Soufriere by which to dine or have drinks! The expanse of sea to the horizon is lovely with the sun reflecting off the waters at sunset and the Petit Piton looms just in front of you and it feels like you can simply reach out and touch it!

The food quality is excellent! The dinner menu is varied and changes daily.

If visiting during the day, we highly recommend the Accra (Codfish fritters) & Chicken Wings! They’re our favourite appetizers! We’ll visit again just to have them!

For dinner, there was a wonderful fish with tropical fruit salsa which was simply divine!

There is alot of thought and planning into the food offerings but walk with abit more than you would expect. It is on the pricey side, but there is no comparable dining experience on this side of the island.

The staff are very friendly. The food delivery time is good but the restaurant service is abit slow. Once the staff become more nimble and attentive, The Mango Tree will become one of the top 3 restaurants in Soufriere!

Advice: Just avoid stroking the resident cat! He is abit grumpy and will happily scratch you!

We love this place and will definitely be back again soon to indulge!

Everything was great but I especially like the Thursday night barbecue and the jerk chicken. I don't mind paying for really well cooked meals!

Had lunch overlooking the Pitons and the sea - just a wonderful location to have a relaxed meal. Both of us had a roti (I think my fish one was better than the chicken version ... but it was a marginal decission!). The portions were very large, came with a fresh salad and were served to us by a delightfully friendly waitress. For the location and quality, we thought the cost very reasonable - it is certainly possible to pay a lot more for a worse experience on St. Lucia!

The restaurant overlooks the ocean and the Petit Piton. The clouds come over the mountains behind the hotel, rise, rain and the create wonderful rainbows over the ocean. Very pricey for resort food.

Spectacular view down onto the Caribbean and onto the Piton from this restaurant perched on the side of a steep jungly hill. Nice pool, lovely atmosphere, recommend (at lunchtime) jerk chicken burger and lentil burger. We came back 3 times and each time the view took our breath away !!
