We had dinner here as part of a gift from friends for our honeymoon. We have eaten some pretty amazing food but this place is top of the list. It is tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Rodney bay and is an incredibly beautiful restaurant.

The service was impeccable and the staff were really knowledgeable about the food. We had the tasting menu as we couldn't choose from the main menu, it just all looked too good. The fusion between caribbean and european food was simply superb. Chef Bobo has clearly poured his heart and soul into this place and the food is a clear reflection of this. Each dish showed real attention to detail and a clear appreciation for local produce and flavours.

My only criticism is that there was too much mango on the menu but that is really my only 'negative' comment. It was perfect and we loved it!

Food was lovely and the place was lovely albeit very tucked away! We did find it very pricey and not much to offer older children, the steaks on the kids menu were far too small for a 15 yr old!

The good news: They took the Kingfish entree off my wife's bill - inedible. $ 200 with tip and bottle of Domaine La Baume Sauvignon Blanc which was the 2nd best thing on the menu we ordered.

Seriously, we arrived on Sunday night at 8:15PM looking forward to getting away from the Windjammer "all-inclusives" and see Rodney Bay for the 1st time. The Edge was empty except for 3 other tables on the waterfront deck. Inside completely empty. Menu was also EMPTY. We saw foie gras, lobster and sushi on the menu on the internet. SORRY we have NO sushi whatsoever, no foie gras and no lobster. Can you imagine a whole menu page devoted to sushi and no sushi at all?

Wife had to settle for kingfish which was a huge very nasty mistake. We've dined all over the islands for 20 years, always looking for $$$$ upscale venues but this one turned into a real disaster. Her appetizer with the shrimp and scallops on a bed of sour white substance accompanied by some aioli black tar like substance was a complete miss and a poor combination of flavors. Chef Ramsey would say something stronger than shame on you..

I ordered a "safe" appetizer with the mixed greens. Too much on the long stemmed greens and sauce, tone it down and save the plant stems please.

My seared tuna and spring rolls with mashed was very tasty so furtunately she had a small reprieve from the other misses. The white rice on the side was very tasty...good job and cudos to the rice cooker.

Dessert was very nice.. a Banana Rum Tart with rum and raisin ice cream.

We assume the chef was absent on Sunday and the suppliers were all celebrating Creole Day so we allowed 2 stars instead on 1. By the way, I have only given one 2 star rating in years and that was to the Lone Star Restaurant on Barbados. We usually have better luck. We stringly recommend that if you are going to the Edge that you call ahead and make sure they have what you would like available on the night.

Our sincere best wishes to the chef that he can ressurect the menu and the reputation. The staff was friendly and prompt and did remove the offending entree from the bill so 2 stars for overall score.

We came here for dinner and we were blown away! The food was exceptional, with unique and cutting edge preparations that always worked way beyond expected. Presentation of each plate was a piece of art, and the tastes were complex and bursting with flavor. Service was wonderful and the chef came out to chat with us during our dinner. Atmosphere and location was breathtaking and we had both wished that we had come earlier in our vacation to have dinner, as there were so many interesting dinner choices that made it difficult to choose just a couple. Do not miss this restaurant! If you enjoy a true culinary experience, go and do so before going to Big Chef. We thought we got our money's worth...

we loved the Edge. the food was very inventive and delicious. the ambiance, very romantic on the water. calming decor. we would go back on a very special occasion. however it is expensive. my husband had 2 glasses of wine and I had 1. no appetizers and no desserts after our meals. the bill came a little over 200.00 us. yikes! but honestly! the best meal we had all week. :)
