Overall the staff was fun, attentive, and always helpful. We traveled with my elderly dad who was treated with great kindness. The food, room, and activities were great. It was relaxing for my husdand who needed a get away from work. Next time we will stay longer.

This was simply a great place to stay. Lovely room (we had a superior sea view) with fantastic views – even if the room was quite a walk uphill from the pools and everything else about the hotel. The food was really very good, especially in the Le Jardin restaurant. Even though you had to pay extra for this it was really worth it ($US25 dollars per had). Bit of a long transfer from the airport (90 minutes) but as we flew on to Barbados from the local airport (10 minutes away) it was good for us.

Great feature of the hotel is the staff – every single one was very friendly and helpful. Lots to do at the resort – but travelling out not too hard either. We took a couple of organised trips out (rain forest by gondola great) and went into Rodney Bay by taxi one day (missable).

You will not regret a week or more here.

My husband and myself just returned from a week at Morgan Bay Resort and were both delighted with our holiday. Our Ocean View room was spacious and with the most comfortable bed we ever had in a hotel. Food and drinks were excellent-we loved the local fruit and vegetables and drinks (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic) were worth going back for alone. The resort facilities and water sports are great and keep all visitors young and old busy and happy. Those who just want to laze by the pool or on the beach are well catered for and there is also a lovely little pool with slide with its own bar and restaurant (looked after by an ever smiling Marie) for families with young kids. I think the St. Lucians are some of the nicest people we have met anywhere and the Morgan Bay staff are a truly amazing-always friendly, helpful with a kind word whenever you see them. The lovely gardens were well looked after by Snagg and his team. It is true the water near the beach was not clear and there was some noise from the evening shows
but those are really unimportant details as far as we are concerned. It was fab!

My husband and I decided to travel here for our honeymoon. We were a little apprehensive after reading some of the reviews, but its clear those were written way before new management. This place is amazing! They are beyond friendly, and everyone goes above and beyond. We stayed in the suites on the hill. Even though its a bit of a trek, the view and rooms are well worth it.

Please do not hesitate to book your travel here. You will have a blast!

We went down the week of November 18 to 25th for a wedding. We had 24 people in our party, some who don't travel and others who do often and we all had a great time here. The food was amazing from the bbq, to the buffet but especially the a la carts. Seafood was amazing and I suggest you spend the extra $30 for the lobster, it's well worth the money. The rooms were clean and the beds extremely comfortable. There is a TV in your room with over 100 channels most of them in English. I treated myself to some spa treatments which were very good as well. All the staff are super friendly and eager to help in any way they can. The hotel manager makes a point of talking to all the guests and takes pride in all aspects of the hotel. The only downside of the hotel would be that rooms are kind of on a hill so you need to climb some stairs to get to your room (depending on where it is, there is more of a climb for some than others). That being said, you can always get a shuttle right to your room if you request it. They had a pipe burst while we were there so we were without water for a bit (stuff happens) but the hotel did the best job managing the situation, keeping the staff informed and making sure everyone was comfortable. I highly recommend this resort.

Room Tip: 700 Buildings are in the middle closest to pool with the least amount of walking to get to your room...

Pros: friendly attentive staff; food is good at all the restaurants, not 4 or 5 star, but sold; water was fine, shore was cloudy, but further out was nice; water sports were fun-sailing, kayaking, etc.; "BBC" drink is addictive!; good excursions (Rain Forest Adventure w/ zip line and Soufieire Adventure).
Cons: property and rooms show wear and tear; upgraded rooms on hill in the 900-1200 block (SUP DELUX OV), are newer and somewhat upgraded but the entertainment (which is average) blasts from the Sunset Lounge until midnight (bring earplugs!); best rooms would be 500 block (OV), I think the resort refers to them as 'beach front'.

We just came back from a good Thanksgiving week at this resort. We enjoyed our staying.

Positives:
Great staff and service
Rooms clean and functional
Great access to water activities: sailing, water skiing, kayaking
Very kids friendly
Good food and many choices
Good activities

Negatives:
Dirty ocean (for us this was a big disappointment)
Dangerous Jellyfish (probably box Jellyfish)
Rooms noisy at night because of music from shows

Room Tip: I'd choose rooms closer to kids center if you don't mind the walk to beach and restaurant. Q...
