The shopping mall at Rodney Bay is a modern structure-most shops are inside the mall and air-conditioned. The majority of the shops are below average-their selection of clothes are totally outdated and cheaply made. Not all shops are duty free-a common misconception. The ones that are duty free require a passport and an airline ticket-otherwise, they will add tax (I don't know what their tax is).
I went their with my husband to look for a bathing suit-came out with a nice white pair of jeans. Some stores don't allow to try things on- usually white tops ( fearing they may get dirty) or tops with one size fits all label ( they don't want them to get stretched).
Chef Xavier is the best restaurant inside the mall-open for lunch and dinner. Right next to the mall, there's an american-style supermarket-good selection of food and drinks.
