Amazing trip! But beware, this is not for anyone who might get seasick! Half the people on the boat were sick as we were tackling 8ft swells on the 90 minute ride. Once there everything was amazing! Tip, bring Euros with you or exchange them on the boat, as there are no ATM's and not all vendors take cards!

The staff was amazing and very friendly!!!
I would do it again in a heartbeat!

Thanks for your review. The swells are usually bigger in the early part of the year, but the seas are already calming down.

This was a great excursion; it's a bit pricey but worth every penny. The food, service, guided tour and personal attention were superior. There was breakfast when we got on board which was really nice (it was very early...). The trip to Martinique itself was beautiful and relaxing. The barbecue lunch was delicious with a lot of choices including delectable swordfish kabobs. Champagne flowed freely and our glasses were never empty. The snorkeling was lovely with plenty of interesting fish, etc. The trip back to St. Lucia was rough though as the waves were the biggest the captain had ever encountered; if you don't want to get splashed, do not sit in the front! Also, if you get motion sickness, bring something along as it does get bumpy. All in all it was a great day; enjoy!

We're glad you enjoyed your day with us. We listen to our guests; you said it's pricey; we changed the tour and dropped the price to $149. We hope to see you again.

We travelled with this wonderful company to Martinique and Fish Fryday and they really went out of thier way to look after us .
The food and drink they supplied were first class and when we left they felt like good friends . If you do nothing else in St Lucia have a trip with Waverider ; it will be one of the highlights

This was a fantastic trip. We went with our three children, aged 12, 9 and 7. The food provided was of a very high standard. The crew were so friendly, especially to the children. We were offered drinks throughout the trip. The boat was spotless. The children enjoyed swimming in the sea after lunch. We enjoyed shopping in Martinique! The French chocolates are divine. We all felt that this trip was the best choice we made on our holiday to St Lucia. We will definitely do this again.

We were a group of ten. Two families with six children between us.
Our day started with a bang as everyone was up at the crack or dawn, preparing with indescribable anticipation for our boat trip...to Martinique. We tried to grab something to eat as we'd always been warned, "never leave your home hungry".
Little did we know of what was in store for us. As we approached our vessel of adventure, we were greeted and checked in; our passports were taken and we were given boarding passes. The very warm, friendly and extremely attentive staff, at that point, ushered us to the breakfast bar. There were toasted sandwiches of four or five varieties, cereal, yoghurt, muffins and a fruit platter that continued to be replinished as the day progressed. Coffee, tea, soft drinks, wine and champagne are but a few of the beverages that were constantly being offered to us all day.
The boat was immaculate, the two bathrooms, spacious and very clean and the staff were the best.
The crossing was unbelievable! We saw whales, and flying fish were our constant companions!! When we got to Martinique, we were given the opportunity to shop for a couple hours in the capital. Very interesting place, very different culturally, from St.Lucia.
We boarded the vessel again and were amazed at the sight we beheld. In our absence our boat had been transformed into a floating restaurant; beautifully decorated and laden with food. Lunch was scrumptious and very substantial.
We were taken to a lovely little bay for a swim and snorkel and then later to view Diamond Rock, up close. Breathtaking!
Our journey back was as pleasant as before. This trip comes highly recommended in my book. It is extremely good value. The service and entertainment are unsurpassed. Don't forget your cameras, towels, swimsuits, caps and sunscreen. You do have the option of staying out of the sun, but to be outside really enables you to capture the full experience of it all.
Our day trip to Martinique with Wave Riders will forever be etched in our memory banks as one unforgettable adventure.
