“amazing find”
Reviewed March 25, 2014

Beautiful restaurant in Gros Islet associated with a small boutique hotel. We had this place recommended as an evening stop while at Villa Beach Cottages and made the short trip. Lovely evening with just wonderful food. The staff were so welcoming and the food starred. Wine list was actually quite good and inexpensive. You will not find limited California Cabs, but there is a pretty wide range, and the prices were quite fair. Dinner was really excellent. We wanted a quiet evening, and a chance to talk and just take in St. Lucia, and this was a perfect fit. Salads, entrees, and desert were skillfully prepared, with a bit of an island flair, and the night was just wonderful. It may not be the rustic island feel that some desire, but it was exactly what we needed. We will return.

“OK, but not overwhelmed”
Reviewed March 23, 2014

I found the service to be very good, the food to be average, and the value to average as well. I little disappointed when each dish comes with same potato choice.

“Best food we had in St Lucia”
Reviewed March 20, 2014

We went back twice the food was so good. Try the ceviche, savoury creme brulee and steak. Lovely waiting staff and good wine (much cheaper than the wine in our hotel).

“Great Evening!”
Reviewed March 17, 2014

Really love what Claudia and Thomas are doing here. A truly lovely setting, casual atmosphere, attentive service and great food. Went with another couple and had a fantastic meal. We really appreciate hands on single proprietor operations with hard working owners who consistently go out of their way to please their guests. The menu is well thought out and varied. Our table each had different starters and then entrees. All were delicious and well prepared. Everything from the Ceviche to the Tarragon Shrimp to the Lamb Chops to the Pork Ribs followed by wonderful desserts and coffee were superb! The side accompaniments were also perfect. Some previous reviews have said that dinner was "pricey". I think for the this type of establishment and the quality of the meal, it is not any more so "pricey" than anywhere else on the island or internationally for that matter. Each of us ate and drank quite extensively, each having a cocktail, then wine with dinner, bottles of sparkling water, along with our own starter, a split salad, entree, dessert, and coffee and still spent just less than $100 US per person inclusive of everything, tax, service, extra tip, etc. Very good value actually.

“good food but pricy”
Reviewed March 14, 2014 via mobile

a good and romantic place - not bad food, but for the price they charge you expect just more. The place is quite well visited so be sure you have a reservation - we had none and we luckily got the last free table and that was early evening. For sure not a bad place, but there are better ones in the area.
