I have been a customer of Bread Basket for a few years and have always enjoyed the ambience and their prices are reasonable. The Customer Service has always left something to be desired but the venue and prices were good enough to over compenstate for the lack of customer service.
The Menus are nice and it is paticularly nice for breakfast.
My most recent visit has ensured that I would never revist this restarurant again unless something drastic happens to change my mind. I was literally yelled at and insulted by a staff member and told " Do not tell me no non-sense" words cannot truly express the way I was treated, even when I was walking out she continued to yell. One of the owners were in close proximity and said nothing so I am left to assume that by business is not valued and they would prefer that I never visit their establishment. Rest assusred I would not and I would not encourage anyone else to.
I was told by the same staff member that the last time I visited the establishment that I told her "non-sense", coming from a Customer Service background, customers have the right to express their dissatisfaction in a respectful manner without being yelled at and insulted.
If the service is not good then as a paying customer I get to respectfully express this thought which I did and most of the times the service isn't good. You never get asked if there is anything you would like, they almost never check on you, they serve the food and particularly run away before one has time to ask for condiments.
When one walks into a busy restuarant they expect to wait but they also expect to be politely acknowledged, even if its to say I will be with you as soon as possible.
No customer should ever be treated the way I was today and this is by far the worst customer service I have ever received.
