“Really good value”

Ok so this is not a flashy, posh hotel - some reviews describe it as run down which we think is very unkind, it is traditional and not slick modern.
It is a perfect location on the beach, the rooms are good and well fitted, the restaurant and bar on the decking are just lovely by day and by night. The food is plentiful, varied. and of good standard and does not pretend to be fine dining.
The staff are amazing; the reception staff are so helpful and everyone from the porters to the cleaners are friendly and always ask if everything is ok.
Never done all inclusive before but have to say this has been a very good experience and we will certainly consider it again as it was so little on top of the room only price we don't feel that we have to stay him every night if we feel like a change.
All in all a great place to stay in St Lucia.

Room Tip: We booked " garden rooms" because they were the cheapest, in fact our room overlooked the...

My impression on my visit to Rex Resort in St Lucian Island has mixed feelings. On the one hand I can not deny that nature, the beautiful ocean and the warmth of the staff are ingredients to be thrilled with this place. My room had a beautiful sea view and a terrace within 25 meters from the sea. So far so good, but the problem arose with my room. First, my TV, a very old model, never worked and I only had access to about five television channels. My shower finished with flooding the bathroom every time I took a bath. Both the sink and the shower were clogged . The air conditioning is not good and is loud. That's all I can say. In my opinion, I would recommend looking elsewhere if you wish to visit this wonderful island. Otherwise, you should require the help of the hotel staff, because they were extremely friendly all the time.

Room Tip: You should request a room with sea view in the first level!

This place is old. Food was mediocre at best. Staff was pleasant but too busy to help. Rarely got refills on drinks at meals, sometimes no drinks at all. Room was clean. Anyone who said this place was"wonderful" must be paid by the resort. Only one restaurant was open, out of two, due to slow season. If it had been busy there would not have been nearly enough chairs at the small pool.

We visited this resort a couple of weeks ago and frankly i wish i was back there now. Their reception to the resort was great and the floral display was warmly appreciate. Rooms were clean and comfy and the view of the beach was great. The food was great nice variety although one of the dinning places was under renovation i will most definitely be visiting this resort again. The ambiance of the beach front dinning area is great and the staff at this resort is great always willing to make your stay with them as pleasant as can be oh yes the bar staff... had some fun with them they had us and a few other couples enjoying ourselves. The settings is great for couples looking for a romantic change of scenery and i would recommend this resort to anyone oh and the sunset view is great........

We had just come from Coconut Bay Beach and Spa Resort in the south on the Atlantic side and thought we should check out the action and beaches in the north....we wish we stayed at Coconut Bay. The Beach at this hotel and all of Rodney bay is amazing but this hotel is not worth it. Stay at the sister resort The Royal instead much nicer. This hotel is rundown, and looks like the Titanic which may have been the theme they were going for 40 years ago. The food was below average and even though we had paid for the all inclusive option, we were told that mimosas were not included due to the champagne in them. Ridiculous. The rooms are old but they have updated the bathroom which was the best part of the room. The pool area is decent as is the beachfront restaurant but not the food. The blended drinks are nice though. Bottled water is not included here either even on the all inclusive plan. Not worth it, pay a bit more and stay elswhere.

Our Annual Baptist Ladies' three day Retreat was spent at St. Lucian by Rex Resorts. Welcoming atmosphere, friendly and efficient staff and pleasant ambience contributed to making it a great weekend. The Conference Room was tastefully and appropriately organized. Meals were great with lots of choices for healthy eating as well as for more indulgent appetites.
I will return!!
