“Fantastic zip-lining experience”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 31, 2013

My wife and I booked this experience through our travel rep at our hotel and I am glad we did, it was a fantastic experience.

Our instructor was "RAMBO" who was a right funny character and he made you feel safe and welcome.

We all got our equipment we needed from a hair net to the safety helmet and the seat and chest harness and it was all thoroughly checked before we set off onto the tram for a hour ride upwards into the rain forest to start on the zip-lines.

Before you set off you go onto a practice / training zip-line and you can decide after that one if you wish to onto the zip-lines in the rain forest. You are not under any pressure whatsoever.

RAMBO who was our guide gave us a good commentary on the ride up in the rainforest and he had a thorough knowledge of all the trees and plants including all the botanical names which was impressive.

After we got off the tram it was about a 10 minute walk to the first zip-line and our group of 8 took it in turns to go first. You get hooked onto the zip-line securely before you are let go and only then you can go. Safety is paramount.

There was about 10 zip-lines in total, the highest one was about 100 feet off the ground. Some of the zip-lines are short and some are long. The last zip-line is the longest and best as it is about 500 feet long and you certainly speed up as it is down hill.

After you finish all the zip-lines it is a 10 minute walk back down to the tram and RAMBO was still given us lots of information about the trees and the plants in the rain forest.

Once you get off the tram at the bottom where you started, you can get a complimentary rum punch or soft drink and there is a gift shop and you can purchase photographs as there is photographers taking pictures of you on the zip-lines and on the tram ride up into the rain forest.

Overall it was a fantastic experience and you cannot fault anything on the tour. RAMBO was a great laugh and a big thanks to him for making you feel safe.

I thoroughly recommend this tour to anyone, you will not be disappointed.

“first time zipliner”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 21, 2013

we just got back from st lucia and made this one of our excursions. was well worth the price. tour guides were very friendly and informative. the tram ride up to the top had some great views of the ocean and the rain forest. the highlight was the zip line. I was scared at first but after the practice line and the 1st real line I was having a blast.

“Best day of our Trip”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 25, 2013

What a great way to break in to Zip-lining. This has T-bars for you to hang on to and is the best way for newbies to feel comfortable. The tram is great with an interprtive ride up to the zip-lines. This and Zip-lining in Dennery, which is a little different with using gloves and doing your own breaking, but just as exciting. I am definately addicted to ZIP!!!

Went Feb 2013. Arranged everything online. Saved quite a bit. paid extra for Hotel pick up- On time. We only went on the tram ride, and it was so peaceful. Guide was knowlegable. Enjoyed everygthing. I am a bit afraid of rides, but this was nice and slow no problems. Beautiful!

“A bit like Alton Towers in a rain forest”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 23, 2013

Well organised. The trams are good and the zip wires too (but not for the faint hearted!) Book directly (rather than via your rep - its cheaper) Transport was arranged by them too for an additional fee. Worth a try.
