Excellent trip with Shal! He was fun and entertaining. Definitely a recommended tour. Everywhere we went Shal knew someone, his own personal touch on the island experience. Sampled coconuts, bananas, and stopped at every beautiful view for photos. Thanks again Shal! You did not disappoint!

This company did not show for our Scenic Soufriere Tour of St. Lucia. We assume it was because there were only two of us. Other companies would give you the benefit of a personal tour when that happens. On the positive side, they made arrangements for us to be tacked on to another tour which was excellent.

I would give a "terrible" rating for Jungle Tours but a "good" rating for Elias. for an overall rating of "poor".
Despite having booked this tour for 4 people several months ago and having the paid invoice and electronic ticket with us for confirmation, Jungle tours did not show up. We were waiting 10 minutes early in the area we were told to wait, all the other tours found their groups and left, and we were left behind. After waiting half an hour and being asked by MANY taxi drivers if we wanted a tour, we found one guy who said he knew the owner of Jungle Tours and would call him. Then he told us that Jungle Tours was going to be late and that we should go with him to start the tour and that the other guy would meet us. Of course, our alarm bells were going off!!! We said no thanks, and that we would wait for Jungle Tours. The taxi driver called Jungle Tours again and then told us that he was not coming and that the taxi driver was now officially doing the tour. You can imagine our anxiety at this point. We had paid over $350 dollars for this tour, we had already lost almost an hour of time, and now we were supposed to go with a stranger who had no Jungle Tours identification. To sum up what was a long and drawn out process, we spoke with someone from the cruise terminal who knew Shal, the Jungle Tours operator, and Elias, the taxi driver. She told us that Elias works for Shal all the time. She let me talk to Shal on the phone and then finally, still very anxious, we decided to go. At the beginning of the tour, Elias got a phone call and said that he had to meet Shal for the cooler. We drove off the road and wait in the somewhat sketchy area to supposedly meet this guy, again, somewhat freaking out, but then he showed up with the cooler of drinks and apologized by saying that we were not on his "list" for the day. We had booked this tour through SHORE EXCURSIONS, so we will be definitely following up on that...
So, after a very rocky start and lots of worry, it turns out that we had a good tour with Elias. He was very knowledgeable. The island was beautiful. We were in a van, just the four of us. We were not able to go and swim in the waterfall because it was closed as a rock had fallen earlier that day and hit someone, so we went to Diamond waterfalls instead. We did most of the things that other people had mentioned in their reviews. We had coconut cake and then bread with cheese. We saw the banana plantations and cashew trees etc.. We saw the Pitons and the sulphur volcano.
If we had been met as planned, I think the tour would have been a "very good" or an "excellent".
I suggest to Elias that he book and run those tours on his own...

We took the cruise ship excursion that was offered on their website. (You can look at all of they things they do on their website. I'm not going to list them all) Shal was our driver and he was great! It seemed like everywhere we went everyone knew him and he was quite the ladies man. :) He knew everything about the island and was great explaining stuff to us. This excursion was nice because we were in an open air jeep. It was the only one we saw the whole time we were driving around the island. All of the others doing tours looked like they were stuffed in a van with thirty other people. It was nice being in the open air instead of a cramped hot tour bus. It was also nice being that only six people could be in the jeep. It made getting in and out a breeze. My uncle went on the same cruise as us a few weeks after and I recommend that they go on this excursion. They loved it and had a bast. I would definitely recommend this tour and if I ever go back to St. Lucia I will be taking it again or another one offered through their company. Thanks for a great adventure Shal!
