“A Good Place for Steaks and Burgers”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 16, 2011

We had one meal at the Fire Grill while staying in Rodney Bay. It was an easy walk from our resort. My husband had a burger which he enjoyed. I only had a pumpkin soup which was good and a shrimp and scallop appetizer which was good and well presented. I would go back for meat dishes.

“The best and most posh cheeseburger I have ever eaten”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 11, 2011

We were craving a good cheeseburger after 3 weeks of sailing and heard the Fire Grill was the place to go. The ambiance of the restaurant was very nice and the service was impecable, attentative without being intrusive. The burgers were about $50 EC, but worth every penny. They were perfectly cooked and were moist without being greasy. They were served with an assortment of condiments including a fabulous carrot relish and pumpkin chutney. We all agreed that these were the best burgers we had ever eaten. I am returning to Rodney Bay with my girlfriend at the end of January and we will definatly go for lobster night on wednesday, and I am anxious to try their Angus steaks which are delivered fresh and never frozen.

“seriously?”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 31, 2010

This is an a la carte restaurant. We'd never been here before and thought we'd give it a shot. When we looked at the menu outside I didn't notice the a la carte.
It was $30 us for one scewer of shrimp which tasted like they were shrimp "ring" quality. Thats it. a stick of lonley little shrimp. We ordered a side of beefsteak fries which were good. My son had fish and he was not a fan. My husband ordered the steak and he said it was just ok, nothing special.
The waitress forgot to put our dinner order in and it was an hour before we ate.
The restaurant was kind enough to offer 20% off without us even complaining or asking which was nice but we would not go back.
You can generally tell a lot about how busy a place is and this place was dead all week. We should have gone by that.

“don't order the chicken”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 27, 2010

visited this restaurant twice, whist the service and atmosphere is good, both times the chicken was undercooked enough to remain bloody inside.

“Really very good, fantastic steak and sushi”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 21, 2010

We visited this restaurant 2 days after Hurricane Tomas had hit St Lucia. The restaurant was back on its feet and serving a full menu. Most of us had steak which were cooked to perfecton and were so tender. The wine list was great. one of our party had sushi to start which was ordered with and delivered by their partner restaurant, we were warned it could take 20 minutes - we did not notice any particular delay. Brilliant service. A thoroughly super meal.
