What a splendid experience! From start to finish, we were treated with dignity, respect, and lots of love. The staff at Bay Gardens Beach Resort embraced us as their own and watched over us with attentive eyes and enthusiasm as we explored the lovely pool, the onsite (HiTide / LowTide) and nearby restaurants (Spinnaker's) and the beach life.
Our beachfront suite was perfectly tended, and we were delighted to know a grocery store is just a short jaunt down the road (best by cab for carrying groceries) in the event we might decide to stray from the pleasures of having someone else cook.
The beach is cozy and carefully curated by locals who are delighted to take every opportunity to sell you a necklace or some aloe vera. The waters are calm and warm, and the Fruit Guy comes by at least twice daily to offer up some local delights. (Pineapple is reserved for early risers... if you sleep in, it'll be gone.)
You won't have much time to be bored, for if sunbathing and cavorting in the surf aren't enough for you, there are also for rental boats and jetskis. (Although there are a number from which to choose, you won't go wrong by selecting a jetski from a fellow named Shon - he is a total delight, great with kids and adults alike.)
My only sorrow? That the place will become so popular that I won't be able to get in next time.
