Been on this full day cruise today and both myself & my wife enjoyed the experience.Nice sailing and enjoyed the sea breeze & the sun, very relaxing.Got to see the Pitons, botanic garden/diamond waterfall and drive through vocano. There was time for swimming or snorkelling too.All the staff are friendly, professional & fun too.We have a 'party' session on the way back which was fun. All drinks onboard were free and nobody drank excesively at all. We were glad that we did this trip instead of the jeep/sail trip.Recommended.

Went on the Castries to Soufriere Day cruise and I must say that the overall experience was very pleasing. The cruise starts in Castries and we were staying at Cap Estate so we had to take a boat ride from the Marina at Sandals Grand to Castries. This ride was covered by Carnival.
The day we went was very good with calm seas and sunshine and the ride down to Soufriere was smooth and included non alcholic drinks and breakfast which consisted of finger sandwiches and fruit.

At Soufriere shuttles took us to the Botanic Gardens and thence for lunch at a restaurant in the hills overlooking the town. The view from there was excellent. After lunch we were taken to the volcano and then back to the boat for the return trip which included a snorkeling stop.

Alcohol was only served on the return trip and only after the snorkeling stop which took place just off a resort on the coast called Tiki Village. The alcohol was limited to rum punch and Piton beers but the supply seemed endless. The snorkeling was supposed to be for about 1/2 hour but lasted just about 15mins as to enable Cruise Ship passengers to reach Castries in time to board their vessel.

All in all my wife and myself enjoyed the trip......and I even won the beer drinking competition on the way back :-)

Cannot recommend this Carnival Sailing bunch at all. The approach to safety was to load as much alcohol into the passengers as possible and all the safety equipment remained carefully locked in stowage...

They will roll out of harbour no matter what the sea conditions are apparently so long as they have a good number of passengers. Our trip was so rough they 'cancelled' the scuba, but hey, here's some more rum..

We went on the Soufriere Adventure Cruise with Carnival Sailings. The trip itself was ok. Our guides were great but the boat was not. The ladies washroom was out of order but they didn't bother to put a sign on the door so the ladies just used the men's washroom. There was an awful smell too. The land and sea cruise group was late so we had to wait for them for about 45 minutes and so only got to snorkel for about 15 minutes. We were suppose to go on another trip with them but canceled. Go with Hackshaws instead.

My wife and I signed up for the day sail on the Carnival Sailing catamaran from Casteries to Soufrierre. This was a great way to see the Pitons and explore the drive-in volcano. The staff were very professional and offered entertainment, an endless supply of rum punch and Piton beer, and a great tour. Definitely worth it and we would recommend this group to sail with.

The only criticisms would be that it would have been nice to sail a bit further south to get closer to the Titons (we stopped at the marina in Soufrierre) and would have liked to see the volcano and get a mud bath (we had to choose one or the other). Both of these would have only added 35 to 45 minutes to the trip. In fairness, I am not sure if any other tour outfitter offer trips that include my added suggestions along with the snorkel, lunch, and day sail.
