We've just returned home from a 10 night stay at the Rendezvous and we wish we were still there. The place is fantastic, the best place that either of us has ever stayed in.

Location - Very close to Castries (closer than I thought that it would be) but once you're in the resort you don't know it. The nearby airport is not a problem at all and in fact is very handy if you're planning a helicopter trip/tour or flying to another island.

Beach - The beach is really nice and there are plenty of sun loungers, we never had a problem getting one whenever we wanted. The beach tends to be very quiet except on a Sunday when loads of locals descend. They are no problem and in fact provide much entertainment just watching them play cricket, football, etc. There is always the odd person trying to sell you necklaces, etc but they are not a problem and do not hassle at all if you are not interested.

Pools - There are 2 pools, 1 with a swim up bar, the other is next to the gym and during our stay was virtually always empty except when a class was in progress or a game of pool volleyball. There are plenty of sun loungers around both pools.

Facilities/Activites - There is so much to do if you want to but you are never hassled to do anything that you don't want to do. There are loads of water activities although we didn't participate in any. There is also a gym, archery, tennis, table tennis, bikes and much more.

Staff - Absolutely superb. All so friendly and the service in the restaurants was brilliant.

Food - All very good and so much (expect to put on several pounds!). The buffet restaurant has an excellent location and the choice and quality of food is great. The Trysting Place (a la carte included in All Inclusive) is lovely. The food and service was second to none and it's air conditioned if you've had too much of the humid conditions. Booking is recommended but the 2 times we visited it was not full.

Rooms - We stayed in a Verandah Suite which was really nice. Very spacious and great location. From what we saw of the other rooms there is probably no need to upgrade further as you don't seem to appear to get anything much extra and you're not going to be in your room much anyway.

Guests - Mostly British & American. All sorts of ages but all very friendly.

Excursions - These can be booked on site and there is loads of choice. I would highly recommend the Brig Unicorn trip (make sure you don't go on Pirates day unless you like kids) and the Island Tour in the helicopter (expensive but well worth it). We also ventured into Rodney Bay one evening but just be prepared for a very different experience to the resort!!

To sum up, we had an excellent time and cannot fault the resort at all. You can do as much or as little as you want and can keep yourself to yourself or socialise with other guests/staff as much as you like. If you are a couple looking for a romantic getaway at reasonable prices then this place is for you.

A fantastic boutique hotel... incredibly helpful but unobtrusive staff. Excellent food and The Trysting Place was fantastic. Perfection and relaxation rolled into one

Returned from St Lucia and The Rendezvous Resort on 9th May and can honestly say I had one of the best holidays ever. We actually ended up going to St Lucia by default as the Caribbean was never somewhere I had even considered, but now I would return in a heartbeat! The hotel was really good with beautiful gardens and extremely friendly staff. The food was great and the position overlooking the Caribbean Sea was just magical. We met some great people there too and had lots and lots of laughs, all the ingredients were there for a wonderful, relaxing holiday. Took the helicopter flight back to the airport on our last day and I would say (along with the chill out check out with Virgin) it just finished the holiday off nicely. I would definitely recommend.

My husband and I stayed at the Rendezvous Resort for our Honeymoon May 15-19, and our stay was the best.

Everything about this resort was beautiful, the grounds were well manicured, all areas of the resort were always clean, the beach, the pools, the drinks, the food was the best, the entertainment, the rooms were the perfect size, the bathrooms. Everything was great we couldn't ask for more, we got our monies worth!

The staff was excellent, they were always there to meet our needs even if we didn't ask. We felt as if we were at home.

Words cannot explain how much we enjoyed ourselves, and how much the staff meet our needs.

We do recommend this resort to any couples it doesn't matter the age group, my husband is 29 and I am 27 so if you know how to have fun, this is the place for you.

Although the rooms in the resort does not have any TV's that was pretty much okay with us. We felt that if there were a TV in the room we would not have left the room as much as we did.

Our honeymoon was the best and we would not do anything different!

We decided to stay at this resort because we felt that Sandals was too overrated and we do not regret our decision to stay at the RENDEZVOUS RESORT!

IT WAS THE BOMB!!

We went here for our silver anniversary and we were not disappointed. Fantastic time, lovely setting, great food, rooms were cool and nicely furnished. Staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Met some really nice people from up north (HI M & C and S & A) Watersports were very good and the staff know their stuff. You must try all the cocktails they are very good. Trips on helicopter are a must and so is the catamaran cruise complete with very likeable rum punch. The Sunset trip on the Unicorn/Black Pearl was just great even thought the sun disappeared behind a cloud before it set, still very romantic.

My husband and I stayed at the Rendezvous because his brother was getting married at the resort. We had a wonderful stay. The staff was friendly and went out of their way to keep us happy. We only waited once to get our drink order--the service is fast and efficient. Our room was clean and well decorated. I will agree with other people who posted to say this is not a brand new resort, it is near the airport, and there is a cemetary nearby. None of these things bothered us. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others!

We transferred to the Rendevous Hotel as we found out the Almond Bay had building work - and we were not disappointed!

This was our honeymoon and we met so many friendly people - staff and guests.

The hotel itself is slightly tired but the staff and amenities far outweigh this. Oceanfront room was fantastic - but not much time spent inside - even if it was our honeymoon!! Room was decorated with petals on our arrival which was lovely.

Went on many trips - best being the day trip to the Grenadines. You must also go on the Brig Unicorn Sunset Cruise (quite busy but fab atmosphere), snorkelling at Marine Park (We would advise learning to scuba dive as soon as you arrive - our one regret!!), horse riding in the sea (to the couple who went on Mon 30 April, could you please email us photos??), and the helicopter transfer from airport is a must!
Visit Le Sport (sister hotel) for a day - you are made to feel so welcome.

Food was varied enough - did taste quite greasy at times - so you may need larger pants for the second week! Trysting Place was great but we preferred to eat outside by the sea!! - with the 2 cute dogs, cats and birds!!!!!!! We enjoyed the animals/birds - they never were in the way!

Entertainment was great - you could join in as and when you wanted - there was nobody forcing you to do things. Romantic walk was entertaining - both the Fridays we went!!!! We only made the piano bar once but the entertainment each night was good.

The only down side of the trip was that we had to go home.

Thank you Rendezvous - we will be back!!!!
