We're so happy we went to Rendezvous for our honeymoon. The service is great and the staff can't do enough to make sure your stay is exactly what you're looking for.

All facilities were clean and well kept and the rooms were tasteful. Our garden view room had a nice view of the lush gardens and a bit of the beach beyond.

The staff were all very friendly and helpful seemed like they genuinely wanted to make sure we were well taken care of and had a good time.

The food always tasted fresh and well prepared. There are a number of options for those on special diets such as low carb and gluten free. And there are also options for those of us who want to throw diet out the window on holiday :) Full bottles of wine are served with lunch and dinner and your glass will never run dry unless you want it to. At night, the open-air restaurant is candle-lit and very romantic on the boardwalk.

There are lots of activities if you choose to take part. Although the activities staff walk around to remind you of upcoming activities, they were never pushy and we never felt we had to participate if we didn't feel like it. When we did participate in activities the staff made sure we got what we wanted out of the experience.

We had a chance to enjoy a honeymoon massage and it was really well done. The spa is clean and well cared for and the technicians are professional and good at what they do.

The beach is well groomed and quote long and there were always loungers and an umbrella open at the beach and both pools as well as in the secluded lazy river area. While the beach is a public beach, the locals are very respectful of the hotel property and guests and we didn't encounter any problems with anyone trying to pressure us into buying local crafts etc. We felt very safe on our beach walks.

We went during rainy season, but it only rained a few times, and the rain always came suddenly and cleared up within 10-15 minutes. It was actually quite refreshing and didn't interrupt any of our plans. We did need to use bug repellent on our legs at night.

Overall we had a great stay and we'd go back for sure, or try the sister hotel, Body Holiday.

We chose this couples only hotel for my 50th Birthday and were not disappointed. It was our first time in the Caribbean and it was fantastic. We stayed in the seaside villas - which were excellent. The bed was really comfy and there was a choice of pillows with different fillings available (ideal for fussy people like me!) Spent 2 weeks being waited on by staff who always had a smile, nothing was too much trouble for them. The food was fabulous in both the buffet and Trysting restaurant .We would like to say a big thank you to al the staff and management for making our stay truly memorable.

We spent a fantastic time here from 29th July- 9th August. It really was a case of the front cover of the travel brochure, with the image idyllic palm trees and beach, being true!! It's a lovely hotel, beautifully kept grounds full of tropical plants, little lizards darting across the path in the afternoons, birds everywhere ( yes there was even that beautiful black and green hummingbird!) and those darn, noisy frogs at night! At first we thought it was traffic noise outside, like a car reversing, as we'd never hard anything like it before!

The staff are brilliant- it's been said many a time on here but is true. The activities coordinators are fab- really genuine, friendly people- Big up to Clavi ( wow those dance moves!), Deano ( always so happy & great aqua aerobics!) Josie ( lovely & friendly) and of course Yarmi ( a lovely person, who we got to know well- fantastic sunset yoga- I miss it!!) Also Trevor at the pool bar & Sean at the champagne bar, who was very patient and also happy to serve us ( even though we kept him up fairly late sometimes!!)

Food is fab- I actually liked that lunch was a la carte sometimes, as our first day was buffet & it was a bit hit and miss ( the only time that it was). The beach BBQ's were brilliant and the puddings, breakfast eggs were spot on. The Trysting restaurant was lovely, formal, beautifully presented food, excellent service and a lovely guitarist and of course, welcome AC. We only ate there once as we enjoyed the theme nights so much in the main terrace.

The entertainment is good ( some super bands) and we met a great crowd of people which made it more special. You could just relax after dinner or dance if you fancied ( hard going in the heat!)

We were very lucky to be asked to be part of a lovely couple's wedding as their witnesses. This was on our wedding anniversary, which made it even more special! Nathan & Erin- I've messaged you with contact details!! So chuffed to recognise you on here!

Also the private dining is fab- ours was in the wedding gazebo- can't recommend it enough- a sublime experience.

If I was being really picky, I would say that perhaps in the buffet to help hygiene, the breakfast fruits and yoghurt should have covers as flies can land on them. My husband did also say that only once or twice there was an odd member of staff who was a little grumpy and not very gracious in their serving at dinner but tbh I didn't notice this and all the fantastic things about the hotel totally overshadow it.

We had a garden view room & I would say it was great. Fresh decor, brilliant big bed, terrace and view was lovely ( on second floor we could glimpse the sea). Think the only advantages the next ones up have is maybe they have 2 sinks and a bigger bathroom. We saw a poolside room and although bigger with 2 sinks, the decor was dated and I felt more secure in the garden section ( theirs was just a glass door then straight out)

Thankyou Rendezvous for a brilliant stay.

Our best holiday ever (6th in the Caribbean). At The Body Holiday last year (sister hotel) and thought it could not be bettered. We went back to The Body on a day pass and felt The Rendezvous had the edge. The beach is about 2 miles of soft white sand, the only problem was 'do we turn left or right for our pre-breakfast walk'. Other reviewers have said about a cemetary falling into the sea, pah!. Yes it is close but not a problem. Room great (basic garde on top (3rd)) floor with good views over the lovely gardens and to the sea in the near distance. Cleanliness excellent, food great, service freindly and to a high standard. We thought we might miss all the activities from The Body but there was still plenty to keep us busy if we wanted to. Thanks to Yarmi, Josie, Neima, Calvi and The Great Deano for all the fun and efforts they made to keep us amused. My wife made good use of the well equiped gym. Sort of missed the treatments we had at The Body but not as much as we thought we would.

It has been a few months since my wife and I visited Rendezvous resort, but better late than never.
We visited this this little piece of paradise last November, only for a week, but OMG!, we wish it had been longer. The Island of St Lucia, beautiful. The resort, amazing, the sunset on the beach ( especially with their sunset cocktail), spectacular. The attentiveness of all the staff, faultless. The facilities, brilliant. Honestly, I could go into loads of detail about the facilities, the food, the drinks, the lazy river, the beautifully laid out suites, oh, and did I say the food?.I have travelled the west Indies and have stayed in some really lovely hotels ( The Hilton rose hall, Jamaica as an example), but this venue is definitely up there in the ratings to my mind. Its a special place, made even more special by the staff and management. Most highly recommended. We can't wait to go back!.

We were last at the Rendezvous in June 2011 to celebrate our Ruby Wedding Anniversary and we couldn't wait to go back.
The food is still excellent and at last we tried the Trysting Place and really enjoyed it.
We stayed in the recently refurbished Premium Garden View room and it was really good. Much better than the Verandah Suite room we stayed in last time but I understand that these are being improved soon.
If I had to find 1 complaint it was that my wife and I really love the buffet option every day and on a few evenings and lunchtimes the main restaurant has changed to a-la-carte with the choices being more limited.
As before we think the staff go a long way to making this a GREAT holiday rather than just a good holiday so a big big thank you to James for keeping our wine bottles topped up every lunchtime and evening, Simon and Candice for looking after us in the restaurant, Glenn, Trevor and Makeda at the pool bar, Yami and Deano for keeping us entertained in the evening and lastly a big thank you to Veronica (the egg lady at breakfast) who makes the best eggs benedict in the world!! I asked her to marry me but no luck!!!!!
Also a big thank you to Matt (Fat Frank) for the tee shirt.

Room Tip: Go for the premium garden rooms as they are the best value

I got married here and the location could not have been better. Fabulous staff with great attention to detail - nothing was too much trouble. The arrangements for the wedding could not have been more straightforward.
Food was fabulous, rooms were great. We made some great friends whilst we were there - a very special experience. We took a couple of trips around the island including to the Pitons and on a Sailing Ship around the bay - both organised via the hotel. Highly recommended.
