Well, we can't wish that. If you didn't go, the beautiful loving people who work at this resort, and the community would suffer. Frankly, this is a place you will crave to come back to starting when you leave for the airport to come home, only to be quenched when you arrive back in their lobby. Its beautiful, the people you wind up wanting to write into your will, write endless e-mails wishing them well and asking how so and so is. This place will crawl into your brain and not leave--until you come back to her. Then, when you get off the van from their airport, and they greet you by name, offering you a cool, lemon scented towel, and a fresh rum punch and saying two simple words, 'welcome home,' you feel like you might actually be home.

Sarah, in the time share office who went above and beyond to save our reservation and not only save it, but comforted us with the villa she placed us in. Nick, the front counter administrator who always makes us feel at home. Nicole in sales who was so nice and real, we invited her to have lunch with us. Andy one of many shuttle drivers, Kervin-our waiter, are all just some of the staff who now have a place in our family. They welcomed us and for a week, loved us.

First, let me start off by saying I contacted the resort to ask for the honeymoon bonus that Cheap Caribbean has listed on their website. After receiving quite the run around and not being offered anything without paying a ridiculous amount extra, I did not know what to expect when we arrived. I decided to forget about the extras and just enjoy our honeymoon...
I had arranged through CC an airport transport. The ride from the airport is not as bad as everyone makes it out to be. It was nice being able to view the beautiful countryside. Upon arriving at Windjammer Landing we were greeted with some wonderful rum punch and given our room keys. We stayed in the Hibiscus suites, a studio room. What an amazing view we had. We also were lucky enough to be close to the lobby, pools, beach, and restaurants without having to take the shuttle.
The service and experience from the minute we arrived were nothing short of amazing. From true "foodies" we were very pleased with the food. We can't say we had a terrible meal once. Definitely try the buffets and specialty nights. The Caribbean buffet is about the closest to true St. Lucian food you will find on the resort and was tasty. We also really enjoyed the seafood night at Embers. The drinks were flowing and always delicious. Definitely go with the all-inclusive it is worth the money to not have to worry about cost and enjoying your trip. We definitely drank and ate our moneys worth.
The Windjammers property is stunning. The landscape is kept precise and the villas and rooms are beautiful. We did sit through a time-share talk. It was worth it to learn a little about the property and they give your a reasonable deal if that's the road you would like to take. The $100 spa credit was nice also. YES, there are cats on the resort. From a person who is deathly allergic and petrified of cats, I was deeply concerned before arriving at Windjammers. By the end of the week you begin to realize they do more good than harm to the resort. If they come near you at dinner they are easily shooed away by the wait staff or a wonderful spouse!
We enjoyed a couples massage in the Serenity Spa. It was a nice experience, and everyone was very nice.
The Water sports are definitely worth checking out. We did the tubing, paddle boats, and snorkeled while on the resort.
While in St. Lucia we also booked two tours. We booked "Joe Knows Land and Sea tour" prior to arriving. This was the best decision we made the whole trip. We highly recommend this tour to Souffries to enjoy a mud bath, sulfur springs, waterfall, lunch, and snorkeling. There are many similar tours. I don't believe they can even compete with Joe Knows. The staff and tour were nothing short of amazing. We also booked SNUBA while we were at the resort. SNUBA is a mix between snorkeling and scuba diving without the training classes. It was an interesting experience and definitely worth checking out!
One day we took a taxi to Rodney Bay for shopping, browsing the marina, and lunch on the beach. It was a great trip and nice to see another part of St. Lucia.
We had an amazing action packed honeymoon and a wonderful stay at Windjammers. After reading reviews I was skeptical, and that's why I am writing the tell you don't listen to the bad reviews this place is awesome! Thank you Windjammers for an amazing trip. St. Lucia is a beautiful island with tons of culture to explore and wonderful people to meet.

Room Tip: Hibiscus suites are extremely nice and you don't need to use the shuttle, they are in walking di...

We chose Windjammer for our destination wedding in May and couldn't of asked for a nicer place. We chose a Hibiscus Suite with a jacuzzi. Our view from our room was amazing! The entire staff was extremely friendly & very helpful. They all welcomed us upon arrival & even called to check on us if they hadn't seen us during a day to be sure nothing was wrong. The Wedding specialists Melanie & Lynn went out of their way to ensure that our special day was perfect in every way, accommodating us from beginning to end, even with the problems of Mother Nature ...which we were told that it is good luck for it to rain on your wedding!! And Peter worked miracles with the raindrops&photos! The sunset cruise was a blast! Definately a must do!!Thanks to Barry for being such an awesome bartender on the cruise as well as at Jammers. Go all inclusive,Definitely worth it! We are already saving for another vacation...can't wait to rekindle the friendships we made! We would highly recommend this resort in St.Lucia!

My husband and I came here for our honeymoon and we had an amazing time. We were nervous about it being kids there, but they weren't a problem, No out of control kids at all. The resort was very peaceful. We stayed in the Hibiscus Suite and it was a perfect location, close to everything. It also has its own pool, its small but its fine. The beach isnt what i expected, it was very small but it was fine because the resort wasnt crowded with a lot of people. The food was also pretty good. The resort is nicely well kept also, the people are extremely nice and friendly! Overall everything was great. Thank you windjammer landing for a great trip!!

Let me begin by saying my now wife and I were married on the WindJammer Landing resort and the hospitality from all staff members from top to bottom was amazing, and we can not say enough good things about them.

Now for the actual resort itself. Keep in mind that you are on a small island in the West Indies, not DisneyWorld so if your looking for plasma tv's, and "modern" fixtures your not going to get it. We booked a 1 bedroom villa that overlooked the resort and the view spectacular! The villas are open air except for your room where you actually sleep has the AC unit, so we just simply kept our doors closed for our room and it stayed very cold the entire time.

We also booked our trip 'All Inclusive' and IT IS WORTH IT!! There is no special menu that limits what you can order, no limit on drinks you can order and nothing is off limits, it seems quite unbelievable but you simply sign the receipt with your room number and that's how they find your All Inclusive. My wife and I ate every meal 3 course, we drank throughout our trip, and the watersports are a blast! If your traveling as a couple, and not going to book 'All Inclusive' you can easily spend more than $300US per day on your meals, and not to mention you will be penny counting the entire time, which for us was the biggest plus to 'All Inclusive'. We could order anything, anytime, and it was no hassle. Simply worth the money.

And finally our wedding was unforgettable, and more than we every pictured. Melanie and Lynn were amazingly helpful. The most important thing for us, was WindJammer only has ONE wedding a day, so all of the staff's focus is on you and your wedding. You never feel like your a part of a machine, and WindJammer makes it very personal. We planned our wedding over the course of the year and they answered any and all questions, and once we arrived on the island they walked us through everything. No hassle, they set up everything, and everything went off without a hitch!

We had a wonderful time on the island and we highly recommend this resort for anyone traveling to St. Lucia!

My wife and I just returned from this property after getting married and honeymooning here. We stayed 10 nights and loved it. Great food, great property and all the staff were very friendly and accommodating. We were so impressed with being an all-inclusive that the food was excellent at all the restaurants.

We had such a great time here and Mel & Lynn were both great on all the wedding plans and carrying them out.

FYI - at breakfast you have to try the banana pancakes and the choc. chip are not far behind.

Room Tip: Hibiscus suite is a great selection here.
