A nice sheltered bay, supposedly the playground of the rich and famous particularly the 'Iguana' but still a beautiful place to behold from a boat

As this stop was part of an all day catamaran boat trip to Soufriere, this was not only a beautiful bay to see but also interesting to listen to our guides give information on the many movies filmed here & pointing out the many celebrity homes here on the bay.

Entering the bay on our return from a Dolphin and Whale search, it appeared as if the heavens had opened and we sailed right in. The small cove of Marigot Bay housed a small selection of local homes, a boat shop, a small Inn and the most luxurious, yet small beack on the face of the earth. If in St Lucia, a drive or boat ride to Marigot Bay is a must. It will turn out to be the icing on the cake for your entire stay.

This is a gorgeous bay and lined with the homes from the rich and famous. Go for the beauty and not the fame, but it is also where they filmed the 1966 version of Dr. Doolittle. We went out with Dolphine Dive Adventurs for snorkeling at the Pitons, but they made sure to stop here for a tour through the bay. I would not recommend that you try and make a day as I would think you could get bored quickly, but as part of another tour, it works in very nice.

Marigot Bay is simply perfect! The water is beautiful! The houses and palm trees on the waters edge are stunning! And it's just such a beautiful scenery! Must see, great photo opportunities!
