“Great For Watersports”
Reviewed November 19, 2013

The reef is shallow and is well protected by the bay. This makes it a fantastic place to have some wáter sport adventure time, ie kayaking, kite surfing.

“Great for water sports”
Reviewed August 19, 2013

Very shallow almost lagoon like water off of narrow beach. Kids would love splashing around. Great for water sports. Enjoy watching the wind surfers, kite surfing etc. 2 beachfront restaurants also there

“To for the water sports”
Reviewed August 16, 2013

Great place for every water sport you can think of, but not one of the beautiful beaches on St B. for that, I like Saline.

“Good breeze and good views”
Reviewed July 31, 2013

Less pristine than Governeurs Beach and more industrial that St Jean's Bay, Grand Cul de Sac is worth a day at the beach, with lunch at La Gloriette. It is less inviting for swimming and walking due to the construction and boat moorings. La Gloriette Restaurant makes it worth a visit.

“Not for swimming or snorkeling, great for windsurfers.”
Reviewed March 5, 2013

The beach is a very narrow strip with buildings very close to the water- too close, it seems, to be ecologically sound. There are motor boats moored along the shore and it is a very shallow bay for a long distance. We walked out in knee level water for at least 20 minutes and still the water didn't get deeper.
