“The Most Amazing/Relaxing Hotel On St. Barts!!!”
Reviewed August 17, 2009

My boyfriend and I just returned from a week at Les Ondines and didn't want to leave! This hotel is the perfect combination of hotel and private villa. We had a suite that led to the pool from the front door and right onto the beach from the back patio! We had the pool to ourselves the entire week and were treated like royalty by Rafael and Marguerite. Every morning fresh baked croissants, breads, and coffee and juice were delivered to our room. The atmosphere is so serene and perfect for a romantic getaway, but if you must check email, the hotel has wireless by the pool and wired in the rooms.

We live on St Martin and visited St Barths just for the weekend. We found this hotel trhough trip advisor and can only agree with the other comments (excellent). The hotel was nice and quiet, rooms were very nice and the staff was incredibly friendly. Fresh baguettes and croissants served on your private balcony in the morning, what more do you want? Perfecture place to kick back and relax.

hotel les ondines was a gem...elegent yet simple, big, immaculate rooms, loved having a small kitchen and the use of
kayaks, chairs, coolers for picinics, etc. our hosts raphael and
marguerite made you feel instantly at home, and they were so
accomodating to all of our needs and requests....i have traveled
many places, this is, by far, one of my very favorites...

After 5 years, I am now willing to share our favorite place--les ondines hotel sur la plage grand cul de sac----this is a small "boutique" in a very private setting---moorish architecture with unobstrukcted views of the calm white beach. Each suite takes on its own personality (hence has a name) and is adorned beautifully in an open sunny design. Colorful tiling in the kitchen and large bath, mahogany furniture with large comfy bed adorned by sculptured fresh linens---is not the best part--its the service. You will be greeted by your "genie"Raphael who will be your personal driver, concierge, and yes gentile friend. Even the maid service is provided by the resident artist who paints adorable shaped rocks that will decorate your room and will also be your chef and serve your breakfast it in your room---just after you awake, of course!! The spa is attended by Sandrine--a siren ,who gives the most delicious massages while you listen to the crashing of the water right outside your suite. Perfect for a family or honeymoon! BRAVO Raymond--you are a genius

We did half our honeymoon in St. martin and the other half in St. barts. We were greeted by rafael at the airport and his excellent attitude and enthusiam didn't drop from the moment we arrived until we left. The rooms are nice and clean and look as if they were recently rennovated their in such great shape. Rafael would greet us every morning with a delicious french breakfast of breads and drinks, and as always his attitude helped set the tone for a good day.
If your looking for a fairly priced place to stay with nice size rooms, great views, small hotel feel and top notch service from the staff look no further.

Thanks again to the hotel and staff especially Rafael for making our honeymoon exactly what we hoped for. I look forward to seeing you all again soon.

Rafael, have a SOOO very nice day!

This was my first time in St.Barts.My husband found this hotel on line.Wereally enjoyed our trip.we already booked our same room at the same hotel for next year.I would highly reccomend Les Ondines.the hotel was very clean decorated beautiffuly and the staff were fantastic. The beach area is very narrow but we felt like it was our private beach.when the sun moves in the afternoon you can sit by the awesome fresh water pool where Rafael would make us a drink.overall experience was wonderful.great island ,friendly people, nice restaurants and fantastic shopping.can't wait until next Nov.

This small hotel is wonderful for those who like independent living with the convenience of having hotel staff. The staff was excellent, especially Raphael, the concierge. When the airlines lost all of our baggage, Raphael made multiple trips to the airport -- eventually locating our luggage. Furthermore, in the interim Raphael and his wife loaned clothing to my wife and I.
We stayed in a one-bedroom on the beach. It came with a king sized bed, plenty of storage space, a nice bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen and sitting area. The Grand Cul-de-Sac has calm waters and in quite shallow enabling you to wade fairly far out. It is also within walking distance to several restaurants and there are water sports available on the beach.
I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who desires first class service and privacy.
