You may enjoy beach chairs (some shaded) gratis if you're planning to enjoy lunch. Plenty of shade courtesy of bay grapes while dining. Excellent food and drink albeit a bit pricey.

We went here for lunch on our first full day on Saint Barths, it was perfect! The food was delicious, I had the Exotic Salad, it was huge and had fresh shrimp and scallops mixed in with the greens. We started with the tomatoes with fresh buffalo mozzarella and basil and some yummy bread, my friends had a Shrimp Casear Salad, and the fresh Grilled Fish. We spent the afternoon sipping the BEST Vanilla Rhum while relaxing on the beach, or in my case reading in the shade and then going for a swim in the warm water.

I liked my grilled calamari and mahi mahi. Fritters just ok.

Hidden beside the way-over-built La Sereno in Grand Cul-de-Sac, a 10 min. drive beyond St Jean, this spot, favored by locals it the perfect blend of great outdoor cooking with a decidedly casual in-the-sand setting. The menu is enough to offer something for all and the grill mahi-mahi was some of the best on the island. Set on the shore in a a stand of palms that used to cover the islands, one can sit and watch the brightly lit kit- sailors and surf boarders zip by. Grand Cul de sac is broken by coral reefs and not the prettiest on the island but the sand is white, the service great and the food memorable.
