This unique beach located just across the street from the airport is a must see. Planes take off and land literally over the beach. Be the 1st to welcome the new arrivals as they fly over your head as you swim in the crystal cleat waters !

“St. Jean beach”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 5, 2013

St. Jean beach is gorgeous. It is beautiful, calm and truly just a perfect beach. It is pretty crazy watching the planes come and go, while barely touching the sand and water. yikes! From our time there, we immediately saw that bc of the calm waters, it is probably the most family friendly beach. We spent most of our time at other beaches, however this one is definitely a must see.

Beach is beautiful. Really enjoyed The beach bar at Tom Hotel. Had a great time meeting new people and enjoying the warm Caribbean sun. Water is translucent, and the perfect temperature in June,

Smooth Waves and few people make this beach one of the best. Good place to see the occasional plane take off as well.

“There aren't enough words.”

I've been to St Maarten-St Martin and Turks and Caicos and i've never seen a beach like this. Frankly you could spend the rest of your life trying to top this beach and you might never accomplish it.

Mountains surround it, the small airport is on the left you can see the small planes land and take off. Nikki beach (on the left) plays music, Palms aligned at the end of the sand provide shade when needed. The beautiful Eden Roc built on a tiny island (separating the two beaches) seems to float on the beautiful St. Barth's waters. This is a must.
