“On the beach...sort of”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 25, 2012

Great food, albeit at sky high prices. But there's an oddity happening here. The Eden rock keeps shoe-horning more and more profit centers onto its limited footprint. This fairly large restaurant was shoe-horned onto their beach, using up much of what was already a small beach. Now, there's only one layer of chaise lounges between the restaurant and the water... And the umbrellas of those chaises largely block the view of the water from the restaurant.

“Average food and boring menu”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 17, 2012

I totally agree with Getulio, the menu is so boring. I sat at my table reading the menu again and again but could not find anything I felt strong for... In a Relais et Chateaux it is a big shame! Especially considering the prices... The former young lady chef Ann Cecile Legenne was not good but coming from this chef it is very dissappointing!

“The food is good but the menu could be better.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 5, 2012

In my opinion the problem of Sand Bar is not the quality of the food but the choices you have in the menu. The salads are not very interesting, and you don't have many lighter options, ideal for a lunch in the beach.

“Killer breakfast brunch”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 10, 2012 via mobile

We stayed at Eden Rock and had their breakfast brunch every morning. Couldnt get tired of it...Little quiches, smoked fish, cheeses, home made yogurts, home made jams, traditional bacon, eggs and potatoes and the best of all, little doughnuts stuffed with nutella and sprinkled with sugar....amazing!!!
As far as price, im not sure how much it was, it was included in our package. The service was very friendly and the view of St Jean beach and the ocean was awesome. Definitely have to try it at least once for breakfast...and youll prolly get hooked!
